A lovely meal - with great staff
We hadn't been to the hotel in a few years, so we called in for Sunday lunch. The restaurant wasn't very busy so we got seated immediately and presented with menus. The staff were so friendly and very attentive. The food came out very quickly and was very well presented and very tasty. We will be back- and not wait so long next time.

Great holiday
A very pleasant, warm and peaceful 2 nights which left my family amazed and appalled with beautiful memories. The staff were fantastic, swimming pool was clean and nice, morning breakfast was great especially with Mona with her warm and pleasant smiles in welcoming us every morning. It’s a great to be there and plan to be back soon

Enjoyable Family Christening Meal.
We had such a lovely and enjoyable meal for my son's Christening at the Hilgrove Hotel and Spa. The room was a perfect space for our group (16 adults) and suited the children too (4 children).
The food was delicious with 4 courses included for a very reasonable price per person. Everyone was very impressed with the whole set up including the personalised menu. They had a cake stand for our Christening cake too. We were looked after really well by all the staff members.
I'd highly recommend booking a function room at The Hilgrove for a special family occasion.

Mid week family break
Lovely hotel, spacious clean room and great food. 3 minute drive into the village. Loads of activities for younger kids but nothing for young teenagers. Waiting staff all very friendly. For a 4 star hotel would expect shower gel in the pool showers. A few changing cubicles would be great too as alot of people were changing in the toilets which meant you had to wait to use them. When busy there us no privacy.

It’s not that bad..
It’s a family hotel - lots of children running around.
Comfortable room, small bed but I had a great sleep.
The amenities are ok, shower needs updating badly & a spruce up overall!
Food is delicious & well priced - staff are friendly and attentive.
