Excellent hotel in the historic village of Mullagh, County Cavan.

Excellent spot for food or a stayover.Extremely friendly staff and food is excellent.Woukd highly recommend this hotel.

Family meal

Went on a family day out and had dinner in killians lodge.
The service was second to none
Very friendly staff and the food was absolutely unbelievable from start to finish and very reasonable.
I Would highly recommend killians lodge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Vegetarian options

The food was average for a vegetarian there was a few options which all stated a selection of vegetables even the stir fry when in reality the only veg in the options was onion peppers 2?small cherry tomatoes and few pieces of mushrooms at a cost of €15 or €16
The rice was barely a tea cup size but the main was swimming in sauce .
Veg need La to be upped with more variety and amount, my dinner was just sauce,
Staff were very good and nice though.
The kitchen seem to put all effort into meat and desserts .

Bad experience

Food disgusting cold and tasteless. Very disappointed. People at the table beside us all sent their food back. We were guests at an occasion which was bad form. Won’t be returning. Use to be a lovely place to dine and we enjoyed meals there in the past.

Good food

Had a family dinner , good food staff are happy to be at work. And a pudding menu of 12 dessert. We always book if we are going for dinner as it’s a busy place. Never stayed in the hotel part, but always eat there, it’s half for us to go to meet up with the in-laws.
