Wonderful experience

We stayed for one night en route to the airport. Anthony made us very welcome and exceeded our expectations by getting up very early to cook us breakfast. The breakfast was amazing and the accommodation provided us with everything we needed. Charlestown is a great hub to base yourself in to explore the surrounding area and there are some great bars and interesting locals to get to know. We will certainly be returning for a stay in the future.

amazing stay

we decided to visit charlestown as a random choice by my husband, myself my husband and his mum and dad, we just stayed for the one night, before travelling we did look around to see what was about, a tiny village with a few pubs , the stay was perfect, Anthony was ever so welcoming, always making sure we had everything we needed, rooms was clean and bright and pillows was so comfortable, we had irish breakfast which was so nice just what we needed after going from pub to pub the night we arrived, would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning but in the summer months, thank you Anthony and wife for a excellent stay

Fabulous - would return for the breakfast alone

We had a delightful stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The rooms were very comfortable, extremely clean, well appointed and perfectly cosy.
The breakfast was in the top 3 breakfasts I've ever eaten. Everything was homemade and utterly delicious. We still talk about it!!!
Anthony was a great company, an easy listener and easy to listen to.
I could t recommend the Riverside highly enough. My only regret is that I never stopped in when the restaurant was open!!!

Highly recommended!

Spic and span with everything you could need, topped off by a delicious breakfast that included freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade bread and scones, freshly cooked hot breakfast, and yummy scrambled eggs. A big thanks to Anthony & Anne for a lovely stay.

What a gem!

We stayed here on 1st July just for one night. This is an absolute gem of a place - really lovely service, a great night's sleep and superb food worthy of a 5 star restaurant - very high quality produce cooked from the heart. We couldn't recommend it highly enough
