All staff were super nice. Dinner was fabulous as was the breakfast . Nice atmosphere in the bar. Unfortunately there was an issue with the hot water so unable to have a shower. Definitely be back

Room dreadful with view of roof, no housekeeping coffee and tea making facilities not replenished. Staff were fantastic, Breakfast was brilliant, Bar is jaded looking. Handles on men’s toilet door need to be replaced as the cannot be cleaned properly as they are coroded.
Would not stay there again it’s very remote and the roads are dangerous.

Room with no view, no replenish of tea coffee, no housekeeping, The staff were fabulous, the breakfast great. The bar was ok.

The breakfast was good but I felt the small country hotel vibe could have been enhanced further with more thoughtful offerings.

The Woodenbridge is an iconic inn located in the hills of Avoca, outside of Arklow. It is the oldest hotel in Ireland, and is a popular spot to stay, or spend the afternoon. The rooms are comfortable with modern conveniences. They have a hearty breakfast buffet, and the bar was a great place to get an afternoon drink to enjoy on their sunny patio. Their staff are very friendly and helpful.
