Good hotel normal class. Parking outside was free. Max 50 m walk. Very convenient. Restaurants availble only a short walk down town. 4 -5 minutes. Brekfast was really good with a rich selection and great coffe and breads. Only negative was the scrambled eggs that were not creamy but that is a detail.

Our room was incredibly hot and had trouble getting the window to stay open to get cooler air. We also had a plugged up sink that did drain eventually but very slowly. You couldn’t wash your face and brush your teeth in the same hour. Breakfast, however, was great with lots of variety and the location was perfect for being close to everything but not in such a busy location that it was loud.

The hotel is located just a short walk from the downtown core area and if you don’t want to venture out you can enjoy the vibe in the lounge area. The hotel has a unique scent that was created especially for this hotel and it smells beautiful!
The staff were friendly and quickly helped to address a concern we had and their kindness was appreciated :)
And make sure you go to breakfast hungry! It was quite a delicious spread!

Absolutely perfect

Absolutely perfect: excellent location, free parking, beautifully designed and very quiet rooms (completely dark at night — something you definitely can’t take for granted in Iceland), spotless throughout, a lovely breakfast, and professional, welcoming staff.

Rooms were very small and lack of places to hang jackets and put luggage. However very clean, design elements felt luxury. Great breakfast!
