The staff were very kind and the room was clean and quiet. They had a coffee machine in the main area. Overall a good price and very happy with the stay and location!

PLEASANT STOP

Very convenient hotel just outside Jökulsárlón where we stopped for one night to break up the trip. The location is beautiful, on the ocean, the room is nice, located outside the main building where the reception and restaurant are, with a lawn in front where the sheep from their farm graze undisturbed. Breakfast is not very varied, but of good quality. We also had dinner because the hotel is not very close to places with restaurants, and we had a good experience. All in all, a pleasant stopover.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean and modern, the restaurant serves fantastic food and the museum was amazing. Five stars all the way around.

Wonderful dinner

We stopped in for a late dinner (they take reservations!) and glad we did. Super nice place with great staff. Food was amazing. Best meal of our trip. Get the schnitzel. We wish we would have stayed here but they were full months in advance.

Comfortable Stay with Spectacular Views

The location is spectacular. Wedged between the ocean and a beautiful mountain.
The rooms are generously sized. While the decor is not fancy , it was clean and had a homey country feel.
The dinner was very good , while the breakfast was more simple, without hot bacon or sausage or eggs.
Overall a very pleasant stay.
