amazing hotel, great location and very good facilities overall. only one minor complaint is that expresso coffee and cappuccino wasn’t included in the 30$ breakfast. we paid extra for that. the hot tub and sauna were really good.

Very nice property situated perfectly a little southeast of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and north of Reyjakavik in the pleasant town of Borgarnes. Very friendly and accomodating staff, nice room, very good breakfast.

had a great experience at Hotel Hamar. From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent. Ines at the front desk was especially friendly and welcoming, making check-in easy and helping create a positive first impression.
The restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. One of the highlights of my stay was the hot tub, which offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Overall, this was a wonderful stay with great service, comfortable accommodations, and beautiful surroundings. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We were checked in quickly. All hotel staff was very friendly, including the restaurant and bar staff and receptionists. The room wa clean and had a gorgeous view! Plus the sauna and hot tub outside? Perfect for a couple! Would recommend!

Ended up staying here twice on our trip since we were passing that way again and needed a place to stay. This isn't the most amazing hotel you'll ever stay in, but it's solid. Comfortable beds, nice staff, decent food, and not a bad price. Sure the interiors are a bit dated, but it's not bad by any stretch. It's a solid option for a place to stay in the area!
