Great home base to visit the attractions on the peninsula. We were very impressed with how comfortable we were, very clean, very convenient.
We stayed in the cottages and purchased the breakfast for the morning and it was all wonderful. It was a perfect start to our trip.

My husband and I were honeymooning in Iceland in a camper van, we decided to splurge and get a cabin on one of our last nights. Super friendly staff and the restaurant was so tasty (although pricey but that is Iceland). Breakfast was a little costly but the food was really good and had good options, so adding it is 100% worth it. Rooms were super nice, modern with a nice view and tons of natural light. The downside was the showers. They got cold in two minutes. Like freezing. We were warned that they were heated via a boiler but we thought we have more than two minutes of hot water. My only other complaint would be that the coffee cups in the room were tiny, like espresso size but no espresso or espresso machines. This was disappointing because we were looking forward to morning coffee in bed with the nice view.
All in all the hotel was nice but not worth the money, these two things - although minor- prevent me from giving it 5 stars.

I’ve toured the entire island and have stayed in really nice places to guesthouses and this place by far my least favorite. It sits very close to a beautiful place other than that nothing good to say. Very basic to the point that u can tell they cut every corner to save money. WiFi is non existent. Reaching out for any type of help was a joke. No idea that the lobby sat inside of a restaurant, had to look for 30 min with no help from staff answering messages. Shower felt like an accident waiting to happen , very plastic and slippery. For the amount I paid I expected a bit more.

No WiFi despite advertising it in the description. Technically, they provide a WiFi signal, but it disconnected constantly (it was at one bar of strength) and unusable.
The room itself was clean and well-organized. I did like that overall, but I strongly dislike advertising amenities that don't exist, or are provided at a bare-minimum, unusable level. A dedicated router needs to be nearby, or one in each cabin.
I was in cottage #1.

The cottage is very cute and cozy and exactly what we needed! One of the best stays of our 2 week trip. Big shower, big comfy bed and good blackout curtains. Contactless check in was very smooth as well
