The hotel is charming and the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The night stands were tiny as was the shower but the room was clean and the location was perfect for us to explore the Golden Circle. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant, followed by yummy ice cream made right there on the farm. Agritourism at its finest!

OK place to stay
This hotel is clean and comfortable. All personnel are mostly professional and friendly. There is plenty of parking for your rental car, however parking can be tight in the afternoon to late afternoon with people buying ice cream parking in the hotel lot. Maybe hotel guest parking only signs might help. You can watch cows through the barn window while eating breakfast, which is nice. There are horses on the property as well. There is a nice enclosed glassed area for sitting and an excellent large outside play area for children and often adults. The breakfast is excellent with fresh ingredients and great coffee. We also ate dinner and the food was excellent although the table wasn’t cleaned and we were told where the water was when we asked for water. I found this unprofessional considering the price we were paying for dinner. A place just up the road brought water to the table as soon as we sat down. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom had plenty of space. The shower is a rainfall walk-in shower but I needed the hot turned to max to get ALMOST hot enough water, in order to have a shower. Be mindful of the threshold for the bathroom door, as we were, as it could be a stub your toe issue. It creates a mobility issue I think for wheel chairs. The hotel is quiet except when fellow tourists let the door shut on its own, which SLAMS shut and this is AWAKENING LOUD AND THE PLACE SHAKES!!!!. This will happen steadily from 7 pm to midnight as people come and go. The hotel is close to several waterfalls and the geothermal area, to allow one to beat the crowds. This hotel is in a very safe place, being rural farmland, and easy to find right off the highway. There is a multi car Tesla charging station on site. WIFI is good.

Good accommodation, but they should be more flexible with the check-in.
Clean, good room, and perfect location.
I would point out a few drawbacks:
- We tried to check in before the time to be more relaxed later, and they did not give us the option; I believe they should be more flexible, at least to hand over the key, even if you cannot access the room.
- The dinner menu is based on meats, I understand that, but if you eat little, it is excessive.

Highly recommend this hotel, restaurant, & ice cream bar! We loved all of the farm-to-table products we got to try. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Very quiet property. We were hesitant to see that our room was directly in front of the reception desk, but our room was still extremely quiet. Would totally stay here again!!

When booking through a third party you have to pay extra for the breakfast buffet about $20. We stayed in the brand new building and it was perfect (except there is a board between the hallway and the bathroom that we tripped over almost every time we walked into the bathroom)
