Condomínio limpo, no centro de Dili (Timor Leste). Falam português , inglês ,indonésio, espanhol. Bom pequeno almoço. Simpatia. Relativamente perto do cemitério de Sta Cruz e Escola Portuguesa. Muito boa localização.

DO NOT pay in advance

Ok here it goes, I was asked to pay in advance but could not because l did not have a Visa card only MasterCard and lucky l was. We arrived to a shut gate we called out but no reply, then l found the latch and we went in, we sat in an area for about 10 minutes before a cleaning lady found us. She could not speak any English and that is the case with most people here in Timor. She called the owner who came and said in sign language follow me to the room. When then said we booked 2 rooms with kitchen this is a double room and we are not sharing a room. She then showed us a room with a kitchen. We then had a resident who lived at the hotel come and help translate the we booked 2 rooms with kitchen to be then told we do not have a booking for you and only have the room for tonight as it is booked out from tomorrow. I was very surprised because booking.com had spoken with the owner 2 days before to explain l could not pay in advance and was told that was ok pay in arrival. I was lucky that this lady was able to give me wifi as l asked to use the wifi to find another hotel but was told NO wifi (they do advertise wifi $1us for 24 hours). This lady who lived at the hotel then explained that the husband takes the bookings and does not pass on the information. She explained that this is a domestic problem and has been going on for sometime, needless to say that did not help us after booking 6 months ago. Then having to find 2 rooms on the day we arrived. I would highly recommend that you do not take the risk in staying here. The AC did not work properly, they could not even find the TV controls but did put it on but could not see if they had cable or not because we could not change the station but the station that was on was not a clear picture and was local TV. We did put on the fridge but for the time where there it did not cool but it may have needed more time. Avoid and look for something that has recent reviews as the reviews I used are well out dated.

Good accomodation for stay in Dili

Villa Bemori offers different types of rooms, studios or small appartments in the north of Dili with good restaurants around. A good breakfast is included in the price. Rooms are well maintened with AC. Nice proper bathrooms with hot water and all needed equipments. Friendly staff always helpful to assist you.

— Didn’t take pictures due to I was dealing with personal issues. But their pictures is available on google.
If you need an affordable lodging for short and long terms, villa bemori is the place I recommend. I pretty much move from one to another for couple of days and this one is the best by far.
Luis Marinho, the owner is also very kind to accept Rupiah when I was short of $$.
His wife is Indonesian so he understands bahasa well. And, they have another lodging in Lombok too!
One thing you should know in advance, they use Type I socket/plug (the kind of Aussies people use) so make sure you bring your international converter (hope you get what I mean here) when you’re visiting.
And also, tv is a very old fashioned one. So you better go out make memories.

这家酒店简朴无华，但很干净卫生，早餐量很充足，很喜欢。这里门前就有12路小巴直达耶稣山，每人0.25美分，很实惠，去Timor Mall乘10小巴也在邻近街道，十分方便。店老板刘易斯人很好，告诉我们去哪里乘哪路车，关心我们瓶装水够不够，特别要感谢他，在我们要离开时免费送我们去机场。
