not far from the railway station

The hotel has a convenient location, when arriving and leaving by train, although it is in an architecturally not very attractive part of town. The old quarter though with the pedestrian Via Atenea with several restaurants is not far away either.
The room had a good size and all was very practical, also the bathroom. Drinking water was provided, but there was no fridge. With open curtains there is not much privacy, because just across is a lived-in apartment with balcony.
Positive is the breakfast with fresh fruit, the usual Italian sweets, but also cheese, cold cuts, tomatini and toast bread.

Staff is very helpful.
I have left items in my room in my room. Staff needed to fingure out best mailing options to mail back to my country or my traveling cities in the next few days.
I was worried not to be able to retrieve my items that has sentimental value to me.

Excellent experience

Very convenient location, close to the station and the old town. Clean room. Very good breakfast. The owner is very kind and gave us great advice .. we would stay again.

A real dump

Booked on Booking.com a few days later I was contacted by the property and I was asked to cancel the reservation made and redo it by clicking on the link they would send me so I would have an additional discount of 10%.said done. Upon my arrival I am assigned the room and once I entered there was smell of closed, windows barred and could not open and finally drain the sink blocked, I picked up the phone in the room to call reception but the phone did not work so I went to reception they checked the room they apologized and gave me the next one which was worse than the first! Smell of closed, musty, rust in the shower, radiators, narrow shower cubicle and among other things c was also the old curtain whose rod blocked the window, head of the bed detached from the bed itself, rough and pungent bedspread no sockets to attach the battery charger you had to disconnect the television... Lockers completely black from mold inside and not to mention breakfast... end time breakfast scheduled for 10 and 9 had already closed apologizing again for the inconvenience they reopened and brought old croissants, a cappuccino that was a purge and a coffee that was colored water. Bottom line I had booked for 4 nights, we stayed only the first night and the next day as soon as I woke up my first thought was to book another hotel and we left in a hurry.
