Hotel Florida smješten je na prekrasnoj plaži Lido di San Giovanni, a nudi sobe s privatnim balkonima, panoramski restoran, 2 bazena i 2 hidromasažne kade. Opustite se u svojoj udobnoj sobi s balkonom, od kojih neki imaju fantastičan pogled na more.

Lovely hotel
Holidays in Alghero this year , choose Hotel Florida based on reviews , location and value . We were not disappointed , it’s such a lovely hotel . Perfectly located right across from the beach and within easy walking distance of the old town with loads of lovely restaurants very near the hotel should you not wish to go into the old town of an evening .
We booked a sea view room , everything we needed was in it including fridge, balcony and great air con . Bed very comfortable and we slept so well at night, heard no disturbances . The walls are thin in the rooms as you can hear toilets flush etc but nothing that interfered with our rest .
Breakfast was perfectly adequate, gluten free very well catered for . Selection somewhat limited , but we had plenty to eat. The dining room in the mornings was calm and kept spotlessly clean and always had tables available.
The staff are wonderful , polite and friendly without being intrusive . We didn’t meet one grumpy person in the entire week. . The people in reception were so lovely and helpful as were the women who serviced our room every day and left plenty fresh towels and bathroom supplies . We asked for a kettle for our room as no tea coffee facilities as standard, it was no trouble to them and ment a lot to me to be able to make a cup when I fancied. There are two great grocery stores about 5 minutes walk away.
The bar / snack bar staff were wonderful , Again smiling and friendly and everyone had some english language . Drinks could be ordered at the bar and would be brought out to you at the pool .
The pool is a lovely place to hang out , there is a lifeguard on duty and he sanitizes each of the sun beds as soon as someone leaves . There are always beds available with umbrellas no matter what time you go morning or afternoon . There is no need to be racing out to put out towels or claim beds it’s all very well managed . WiFi connection great in rooms and pool area as well .
Reception ordered taxi for us when we needed for airport transfer and one of the tours we had booked to a vineyard. It’s a real family affair as Matteao the taxi driver used to work in the hotel and his wife and daughters are working in reception , they are all lovely people , and their presence realy adds to the friendly atmosphere in the hotel . .
I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends and hope to return again for another holiday in the beautiful Alghero in the future .

A pleasant stay
The hotel is very well located, facing the sea and 1.5 km from the old town
You can easily walk there thanks to a wide, lively promenade along the sea.
Do not hesitate to request a room facing the sea. The staff is really very kind. A big thank you to the person at the reception who recommended some very good restaurants
To park, you can reserve a spot in advance at the hotel parking, but be careful, they are limited; otherwise, there is a street at the back where you will find a spot for your vehicle for free.
The room is really very clean; it has a mini refrigerator, but it lacks a coffee maker and a kettle.
The pool is regularly tested, and the loungers are disinfected after each use (well done)
The terrace and entrance are very often swept. The staff is very smiling; thank you for your kindness

Excellent location. Few steps from the beach and a beautiful stroll to the old town.
Room was spacious, so much storage for clothing. Powerful shower and great air conditioning.

Stayed for a week at the Hotel Florida the staff were amazing. The room was very spacious and clean but didn’t use the pool area but the Beach over the road was fantastic and the old town is amazing.

Great hotel!
What a great hotel.
Stayed here as a couple end June/early July 2026. When we booked all the sea view rooms were sold out, so had to take one out the back, 2nd floor. View had improved over the years - now really just a field which acts as an overflow carpark in peak summer. While initially I was slightly nervous about not getting the sea view rooms I was happy with my decision. There is also a premium for the sea view rooms.
Overall this hotel has a great location in Alghero and you might not need a car, as bus to airport etc close by.
We got an upgrade on our car hire but that caused us a significant challenge when we arrived to the small car park after mid night. The majority of the spaces are designed for small cars, so do consider that. In the end I put the car in the set down area for the night till a full space became available the next day.
Every staff member were brilliant. Breakfast was great, aways topped up. Plenty of space around the pool.
Lots of restaurant choices nearby. And lots of beach club options - I would not overpay as all very similar. We went with Playa Natural Alghero, which cost EUR16.74 for 2 beds and an umbrella for mid location back from the sea shore. And no extra charges to use the toilet. Bar for it was lovely.
