Beautiful historic residence, surrounded by a wonderful garden with an ancient orange grove and palm trees where we enjoyed a fantastic and rich breakfast with local sweets that Mr. Alfonso made us find in the morning, fresh and still warm, as well as yogurt, fruit juices and much more and a special mandarin jam prepared by themselves.
Very kind hospitality also by Mrs. Elizabeth, full of information and useful tips to visit all the places of interest nearby.
Rooms spacious and spotless.

We stayed in this beautiful home and I must say that we had a great time. Mrs. Elisabetta and her husband are fantastic people who welcomed us and made us feel like part of a family. We had an entire apartment, there was really everything, plus they honored us with homemade jam, coffee, water and sweets upon our arrival. The house was spotless and with attention to every detail and it felt like we were living a fairy tale. A historic residence that makes you travel back in time is the setting for a small village full of cheerful and easy-going people where everyone greets you even if you don't know each other and in the evening even if there isn't much to do, we found it pleasant to spend some time at the small bar in front where everything is very simple and calm. A little far from the sea, but thanks to a beautiful road, Otranto can be easily reached like other places nearby. Highly recommended!!

The antidote

If you're finding life is getting just too damn stressful, may I recommend this beautiful B&B in the heart of Salento. You are guaranteed the warmest of welcomes; Elisabetta and Alvaro are such genuine and kind hosts- they go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need.
The accommodation is stylish and homely; the location is perfect for Melpignano or Otranto. The orangery itself is delightful. There is nowhere better to drink wine and read... blissful!

Vacanza nel Salento

Siamo arrivati in questa masseria al centro del paese di Bagnolo.
Edificio storico ristrutturato da poco. Il B&B offre diverse sistemazioni con bagno in camera. Molto pulito.
Colazione abbondante e con prodotti del territorio.
Il gestore è una persona cordiale e disponibile.
Posizione ottima per visitare il Salento, in pochissimo tempo si possono raggiungere tutte le spiaggie più belle.

Non è oro tutto quello che luccica

Il titolo riassume la nostra esperienza in questa struttura, tutto si può rovinare per una incomprensione economica o perlomeno ci hanno provato a definirla così. Di solito il cliente ha sempre ragione ma per pochi euro preferiscono perdere la faccia. È andata così, a Bagnolo si può permanere alla metà del loro prezzo. Dei prodotti che sponsorizzano non conoscono le caratteristiche.
Non consigliato!!!!!

Mi spiace leggere espressioni che non ci meritiamo. Le vorrei solo rammentare che il costo dei suoi pernottamenti nella nostra struttura è stato preventivamente e dettagliatamente concordato, forse sarà stato lei a provarci, per ottenere uno sconto. Inoltre le ricordo che il costo della sua prenotazione era riferito a tre ospiti, mentre durante la sua permanenza avete chiesto se per i giorni 14 e 15 agosto potevate ospitare due vostri parenti. Abbiamo acconsentito senza pretendere alcuna maggiorazione di prezzo, nonostante siano poi rimasti ben quattro giorni anziché due.
Sicuramente a Bagnolo ci saranno strutture ricettive più convenienti della nostra, ma con caratteristiche diverse.
