Nice clean apartment close to lake
We loved this apartment, it was a one-bedroom apartment. We were two people, therefore plenty of space for us to relax. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with amenities. It was 5-10 minutes walk from the ferries and close to many restaurants and shops, therefore, very convenient. Although with heavy luggage you might have trouble taking two flights of stairs to our room, it was not too much of a problem for us. We thought the check-in process was not very efficient. Even if I gave them a 30 minutes window of our arrival and arrived in the first 15 minutes of that, they were not there. And we first waited and then called. So, it relied on the fact that we had working data and phone connection. And we ended up waiting 20 minutes on the street with our luggage after a long travel which is not pleasant.

Outside space
Good location, Not luxury. I guess it depends on what you need.
Cold air conditioning, dirty sofa, cool roof top space, uncomfortable bed.
Best part was the outside terrace with amazing views... which was our reason for booking!

Studio in the centre of Bellagio
We had a studio apartment at the Haus Bethusy. It provided a nice room with a large bathroom. Everything was spotless clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The room was on second floor so be aware if you have large suitcases (no lift). The position is great, just a few minutes from the centre of the town. The host Clara was excellent, very helpful. Parking may be a problem,it is advertised as free, close to the apartment but in fact it is 10 min. by foot, at a restaurant and usually it is full.

A WARNING BEFORE BOOKING
We found the owners description on the website rather misleading and lacking real information
Unbeknownst to us at the time of booking, there is no reception area at this place. It is a matter of finding it on your own and then ringing the owners, who live elsewhere, for admittance. On a relatively warm day, and after struggling up the 550 metres from the Ferry terminal this sort of arrangement is hardly acceptable.
We found the address, rang, and fortunately a short time later he brother/son of the owner arrived and helped carry our bags up the three flights of rather steep stairs to our appointed unit.
Care, if handicapped in any way this unit is perhaps not for you. The same could be said with a small child or baby. On leaving we did not get this assistance. We are in our early 70’s and consider ourselves reasonably fit but lugging two large travel bags down the steps proved both strenuous and considered quite dangerous. Again these steps were not a feature of the company's advertising
This was a reasonable standard of apartment without being anything special.The unit comprises a living room, rather small bathroom/even smaller shower, and a bedroom. There is a small kitchenette with cooking facilities.
We were disappointed not to have a balcony as was displayed on the units website. We were told we should have ordered one, but we had no idea there was such an option as the photo on the website reflects the balcony and that inferred the unit had such a feature. We got nowhere with our complaint being told "all those units are occupied" (there was little evidence to confirm this! Not only was there no balcony but there was no view from the room either, just a view down into the side line.
The is located rather well. It is about 600 m from the ferry terminals but with a reasonable climb for the last 200 metres. Toting luggage that was a bit difficult. There was absolutely no sign of any taxis at the ferry arrival area.
WiFi is advertised as available, but for the four days we were there we may have had it operational for one day only. If reliant on WiFi to organise ongoing travel etc suggest you look for other units as this WiFi is totally unreliable.
Prior to our arrival we received detailed instructions on how to find the unit, if by road, cab etc, however directions from the Ferry terminal were omitted. This caused some minor problems at the outset.
Although its position was very good, the detracting features mentioned above would certainly stop me ever returning.
Although Rated 2 it could have been 3 or 4 but for the lack of advertised balcony,lack of support, no help with bags when leaving, and very poor WiFi

Near Everything
We chose this place because of the location and were not disappointed. Near the main front and ferries, but far enough away not to be disturbed by them. Accommodation comfortable, not luxurious, but that's OK when you're not spending much time indoors.
