An owner who doesn't admit her grave mistakes.

Very comfortable and just as clean, well furnished rooms equipped with every comfort, including coffee machine 'with everything you need and croissants + small fridge with two bottles of water. Lunch and dinner menu with high value for money. The dishes are really delicious, cooked with care and fresh food.Excellent, very kind room service and reception. The only sore note and 'the behavior of the owner Angela, very kind and nice as soon as you arrive during the reception, changeable when he commits obvious improprieties, as with me, which have also led to live unpleasant situations with his wife. In fact the owner Angela no longer answers the phone and refuses any form of simple civil confrontation, aimed at clarifying any misunderstandings
and find a constructive solution, not the usual dismissive phrase like "if you don't want to, find somewhere else to go"...
What a disappointment, only in this respect, I do not add anything else...

Overnight stay

we had booked two rooms but the hotel only had one booked. However they sorted everything out quickly. The room and bathroom were very good and clean. The tv was about the size of a computer screen. There is a pool in the grounds but apparently it is private and guests aren’t,t allowed to use it. Wifi did not work in room
We ate dinner in the dining room and had to pre order for that night. We had a choice of risotto or meat balls both of which were unpalatable. The one good thing was the staff who did their very best and were always smiling

A very pleasant place to stay. Beautiful hotel surroundings and a fantastic pizzeria attached.

The staff was friendly but with very little English. That was OK; one of us spoke Italian. There was no breakfast which had actually been advertised...and NO dinner. We were able to walk to the pizzeria around the corner which was attached to the hotel. Food was good. Overall, this is a farming community and close to the Autostrada and Santhia train station (about 3 miles). It was an excellent place to spend a night when large cities or hotels were out of the question. I would recommend this property as long as you go with no expectations of extra service. We were told to leave the key in the door when we left.
