A welcoming stay

A very comfortable set up stay, near to the station and close to centre of Bologna. The host was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. We really appreciated his recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit.Our room was cleaned daily and all facilities worked well.

A Great Place to Stay in a Great Location

Located about a 20-minute walk from both the town centre and the railway station, this was a great place to stay and perfectly suited us on our trip to Bologna. Our host was nothing but helpful and friendly. He was readily contactable by WhatsApp and email beforehand to help us with information about finding the property and letting us in early. He recommended lots of places to eat and things to do, providing us a with a map so we would not get lost. The room was very comfortable, and we both had a good night’s sleep. A very generous continental breakfast is provided. He even looked after our bags after we had checked out so we could some further exploration of the town before we went home. Be warned, the host does live there as well (but your room is separate from his and lockable) and there is a resident, but rather lovely dog. Before you get there, make sure you ask the owner which door button to press as it is not obvious from the names. Overall, lovely and would happily stay here again. Very happy to recommend this to anyone going to Bologna.

Perfect stay - unexpected surprise !

Too many complementary things to mention in one post about this place. Immaculately clean. So many complementary extras: beer, Coke, juice, wine, sweets, and savory snacks. The breakfast was to die for! Cappuccini, tea, coffee, orange juice, freshly purchased pastries, yogurt, granola, cereal ……. Would stay here again.

"Small hotel" ??? (Google maps)

This is a spare room in a private apartment...with a dog. We had booked to stay here but had great difficulty even finding it as it's completely unsigned. No sign on the front door nor on the flat door when you go up the stairs. We had booked to stay there after reading the reviews - a dog greeted us along with the owner (who was colouring some lady's hair in the kitchen) I don't like dogs, or their smell, so we left and booked into a hotel. The owner refunded our money in full (even though we hadn't asked him to do so) but sent me a very sarcastic message which I thought was unnecessary. if you're happy with a spare room in a rather dingy flat, this is your place (particularly if you are after a cut and colour) if you are expecting a hotel, it definitely isn't.

Fabulous host and facilities

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and it couldn't have been better. Giacomo welcomed us the door and helped us to our room. There was a welcome pack of icecream, prosecco and nibbles. He gave us invaluable advice on where to eat, things to do etc. Breakfast was enormous and more prosecco waiting after our busy day in Bologna. Well decorated, good facilities and even a goody bag to take away. FABULOUS!
