Breathe the history of Italian design in the Dolomites

It's difficult to limit yourself to the description of the hotel: the entire village of Corte delle Dolomiti is something breathtaking. Immersed in the woods, the hotel is a piece of design from the 60s/70s which is a must for enthusiasts. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful: the perfect recipe for a weekend in the Dolomites.

Not exactly what the photos showed in the room we got, but comfortable enough. The kitchen equipment needs to be looked into, no frypan or potato peeler.

Bad I do not recommend it

New furniture...but dirty dishes.
Dated windows and windows you could feel the air coming in. In the middle of the woods at the reception no one was waiting for you only with messages written on a sheet.... disturbing experience

Simply embarrassing

It felt like being in a popular apartment in the former GDR at the time of the Iron Curtain. A time machine where everything stopped in the 60s without any improvements except for the refrigerator, it has 2 induction hobs and mattresses. You could only enter and exit the bathroom by contorting yourself, the attached photos are worth more than an accurate review. All for 243 euros per night for two adults and a 10 year old child. Mattei's idea was brilliant when conceived, the inability of posterity has led to the current state of things.

Good for hickers

Big parking place in the front of the hotel, wifi just on the ground level near reception desk. In room small place for cooking (all dishes are included), no electric kettle, windows remember old times. Anyway, good if you are hickers and not spend whole day in room.
