Historic, comfortable, and central hotel.

Going to the Laurin is always a vacation in itself. Its style in perfect balance between authentic history and cultured modernity is inimitable.
The park, perfectly manicured and with centuries-old trees, is a green oasis in the city center.

Prefer Booking over direct booking!

It's a shame that Booking customers who pay less, and for whom the hotel pays commissions, get upgraded at the expense of those who pay more directly. Indisputable factual conclusion: book through Booking!!! Upgrades are exceptional through Booking for significantly less money and less money for the hotelier.

Amazing hotel. Loved everything about it. Location, staff, the room, the history and atmosphere. The garden, bar and pool. Wonderful place. Cant wait to return.

The staff was wonderful. We arrived early at this fine hotel, and immediately they offered to store our luggage and gave us access to the outdoor swimming pool, a welcome relief on this very hot day. When we checked in later, we found they had upgraded us from our standard room to one of their junior suites which turned out to be one of the largest and most exquisite rooms we've ever stayed in. It had a separate living room with a balcony, a huge marble bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning kept it cool and comfortable, and we wished we had more than just one night to spend in such luxury. The breakfast buffet was overwhelming; with anything you could want including custom egg dishes made to order. I can't say the same about our dinner in the hotel restaurant. The menu was limited and it was overpriced for what we had, and the place was understaffed and seemed to take forever. So bottom line, my recommendation is to stay at this great hotel but choose somewhere else, perhaps with more local Tyrolean food options for your dinner.
