A Beautiful Place to Stay

Bruzolo is a charming and incredibly beautiful small town which stands in the shadows of the glacier spotted Alps. Marco's B&B Autin is the best place to stop while you're there as it offers quick access to nearby hikes and lookout spots. Don't hesitate to chat with the owner Marco who speaks English fluently and can offer great advice about places to see in the surrounding area. Most importantly, the rooms here are kept very clean and organized

Overnight stop

If you want to go back in time to the 50s this is the place for you
Having driven through a narrow archway past derelict properties we found this b and b. First impressions of the room were not favourable but did improve with time. Bathroom was very dated with blocked plugholes. Water was only lukewarm, so good job the weather was very warm. Towels poor quality. Marco was not to be seen at breakfast, we were left to our own devices in finding coffee etc. Food was lacking. Very disappointing considering other reviews giving glowing reports. Wish we had returned to previous places we have stayed in. Won't be returning in a hurry

Great stop over

The B & B is situated inside the walls of the remains of the old castle,.....a quirky position! Marco welcomed us on a very hot day and we shared a glass of beer. Lovely host and very attentive who spoke very good English. Room was basic but spotlessly clean and good value....ideal for overnight stays. Great for our dog with door opening out onto enclosed garden. Chairs available for outside sitting if weather is good and is very peaceful location with views of the mountains. Usual sweet Italian breakfast. Enjoyed the local Piedmont food at the restaurant attached to Hotel Thea in the village a few minutes drive away. There is also a pizzeria closed by. The castle has some interesting history.....http://it.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castello_di_Bruzolo. A visit to Mont Cenis lake is well worth a trip. We visited in early May and was fascinated by watching Marmots poppong out of their burrows, playing and whistling to each other. Would definitely recommend.

All right

We were the only ones there and it had a very much end of season feel. The host was personable and willing to do whatever he could to help us. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was OK... The weather was not too good which probably tainted our experience. In high season I should imagine this would be a highly enjoyable experience.

Accueil sympathique, parle bien français ce qui est appréciable ,chambre simple, propre,endroit un peu difficile à trouver ,(merci au gps,)atypique ,calme et agréable ,petit déjeuner très simple mais ça nous a suffit!!attention:pas de gel douche ni shampoing à disposition !!!!
