Fabulous spot. Gorgeous , clean , air conditioned room. Stunning sea view with the cutest balcony. Comfy bed. Perfect!

Terrible experience at Hotel Villa Sirio.

Terrible experience, and how.
As soon as we arrived, we were told that our accommodation was in a separate building, also owned by the same property.
Ours was supposed to be a room with a sea view, while the only opening was a window that looked out onto a terrace.
As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a strong smell of dampness, dirty curtains with dust stains on top and torn, a mosquito net off its track held up by a little chain, an obviously dated air conditioner, and a clear lack of maintenance on it (the dust on the filters was clearly visible from the vent, dust on the headboard and on the slats).
Not to mention
the bathroom: rust-colored hydromassage jets and a glass door with faulty rollers where, with every shower taken, we had to be careful not to break the glass.
And to conclude at our check-out
there was an argument with the owner regarding the manner in which he asked us for the tourist tax.
DO NOT GO THERE.
Strongly discouraged and a bad experience in beautiful Santa Maria.

Stay away

The hotel has a fantastic location.
Unfortunately, the hotel is run by unreliable people who strive to escape their responsibilities and agreed obligations. We had unpleasant experiences with this.
I would be careful to book here again.
The hotel claims to be disability friendly. It's far away. If you come here with a wheelchair, you have problems everywhere

Nice... But

So. The hotel is nice. At the reception, the gentleman in the morning (the older one, I hope he doesn't mind) is really very nice. There is professionalism and excellent behavior in any case, it must be acknowledged in general. Car parked not close to the hotel but excellent car pickup and drop-off system, punctual. The beach... Well, the beach is not as close as it seems from the photos. Beach also very crowded but honest price for Santa Maria. The walk then is not unpleasant because the city is beautiful, but it is not clearly indicated. The breakfast room is beautiful. Especially outside. The view is priceless. The breakfast is standard
The staff is friendly and welcoming. Two negative things. The first one perhaps my fault. In the room there was only one face towel and I didn't ask for another one hoping that the next day they would have noticed, but the next day no one came to tidy up the room. Did they forget about us? Who knows, it's unclear... And not even the following day. It seems too strange to me honestly. I didn't say anything, but I will not return. Not for anything else, the price is not exactly low cost and from that hotel you expect more.

Castellabate forever

Excellent hotel location, clean, excellent breakfast and very helpful staff
It is a pity that the property seems not too well-maintained in some places.
