Great choice

We just left the b and b. Excellent location, parking, cleanliness and helpful and courteous staff. If I return to Catania, I would definitely return. Highly recommended

Misleading

Breakfast didn't have much diversity... There was a day when it didn't even open. The facilities did not have much quality, hotel externally for the parking very dirty and difficult to access. In three days they never renewed the hygiene products, they just made the beds and didn't even change the sheets. The only good thing was the location. But be careful because on August 16 there is a big party at the church next to the hotel

Good B&B for short stays..it just needs a little more attention to detail.

I stayed at the B&B Etnea Palace from July 6 to 10 for a conference in Catania. I had a good stay overall, very central location, excellent for getting to both where the conference was held and for walking around the center, secure double entrance and the owner was very kind and helpful. I would have given more than three stars if it weren't for the fact that I ended up with a room that, although very clean, had somewhat dated furniture and a very cramped bathroom, so much so that I couldn't sit straight on the toilet. The fan was also really noisy. Another sore point, but on alternating days, was the breakfast. The first morning (July 7) it was past 8 and there was no one there to set up breakfast. The lady who arrived calmly then baked some croissants that turned out to be raw. Having to leave for the start of the conference, my colleague and I had to make do with what was there. The next day was a completely different story; at 7:30 another lady (Lucia) had already prepared everything (and everything was good and well-cooked). I must say she was very kind, friendly, and professional.
Unfortunately, the lady from the first day was there again, this time fortunately arriving a little earlier. I am truly sorry, but I find it unprofessional to make video calls at full volume while paying little attention to the guests. A foreign family was clearly struggling because they really could not communicate in English with her. In any case, if I were to return to Catania, I will return to this B&B, hoping to find larger bathrooms and the kindness and thoughtfulness of Mrs. Lucia. Thanks a lot! Alessandra

Closed without my knowledge, fortunately there are courts

Yesterday, July 8, I arrived at the hotel, I had already paid through booking, and I am told that it had been closed for a month. Nobody bothered to warn me, but they took the money anyway. I let you imagine the inconveniences and problems I had to face to find at the last moment an accommodation for the nights with 40 degrees etc.. Fortunately, there are courts.

Buona sera sign Valerio, ha recensito il posto sbagliato. Noi siamo "B&B ETNEA PALACE " e ci troviamo in via etnea 84. Lei sicuramente parla di "etnea palace " che si trova in via etnea 270, e non ha niente a che fare con noi!!! Se non aver copiato il nome . Le chiediamo gentilmente di cancellare la recensione immediatamente, perché la diffamazione è un reato grave.
Si accuri sempre di recensire il posto GIUSTO.

Great location

Central location, excellent for walking in a few minutes to the main monuments of the historic center. A b & b complete with everything, breakfast included and cleaning service including linen change. The difference is definitely Lucia and Angela, who give added value with their friendliness and availability. They welcomed us impeccably and made us feel at home.
