STRATEGIC LOCATION AND CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOMS
It is located in a really optimal location, in the historic center, also having close all the public transport necessary to move everywhere. From the airport in a short time you get to Piazza Stesicoro and from there in a few minutes walk you can reach the structure, just to give an example. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom even windowed. Around you will find everything from restaurants to small markets to the tobacconist who remained open even in the evening. Great experience.

Confusing at first to navigate but through help and WhatsApp I was able to get situated. Room was clean and comfortable. Thanks Andrea.

Good room for 1 night stay in Catania. Excellent location. Room was clean however shower was outdated and did not appear the cleanest. Thin walls; could easily hear other guests coming in/out but it did not affect our sleep. Nice touch of bottled water provided with access to common kitchen. Overall good value for price, would recommend for short stay in Catania.

We arrived to the apartment with my fiancée and found out that our room was USED. Somebody has used it and left it without allegedly telling the person who rents it out. The bed was USED and unmade and so was the bathroom full of dirty towels. I called the person who was in charge and he said we could not use the other room that was clean but we would have to wait for him to arrive at the property and come up with a solution.

Nice rooms but terrible service and rude owner
During our five-day stay as a group of four people in two rooms, we found the rooms and hotel to be nice and clean. The location of the establishment was also good.
We appreciated the flexibility shown by the airport shuttle driver when our check-in was delayed. This level of service was highly commendable.
However, we did encounter some issues during our stay. One incident occurred on the second day when the cleaning person arrived at 10 AM to clean our rooms, even though we were still sleeping. The knocking on the door was so forceful that it woke us up and scared us in both rooms. We asked if was possible to have a "do not disturb sign" for the next days as we were still sleeping, but unfortunately, we were informed that cleaning only took place at 10:30 AM and no alternative options were offered to us. This lack of flexibility regarding room cleaning hours should be taken into consideration by future guests.
Additionally, the breakfast was served at local cafe nearby, offering us just sweets, croissants or brioche. Regrettably, our group included a friend who is gluten intolerant and another with stomach issues. Despite our inquiries, no alternative options were provided for them. It was disheartening to be told that we were the only ones who did not appreciate the delightful Sicilian breakfast.
To our surprise, after these two conversations, the owner contacted one of our friends, accusing us of creating too many problems and even said that one of my friends had "mental problems". Consequently, our booking was canceled as a no-show on booking.com. This caused us considerable stress, as we believed would be kicked out and needed to find alternative accommodation. After reaching out to the owner, we were informed that we could still stay but the booking was canceled to avoid a negative review. Unfortunately, this led to lengthy phone calls with booking.com to avoid cancellation and no-show fees.
Overall, while the establishment provided the basics adequately, our experience was far from positive. It's essential for future guests to be aware of these aspects before considering a stay here.
