Wonderful location.

A wonderful historic structure, excellently restored and situated in a small square that is a gem. The willingness to use the unique spaces to organize exhibitions, concerts, and various types of cultural activities is commendable. At the moment, they are hosting a photography exhibition by a very talented photographer from Catania, which I recommend everyone see, as it is also free.

Optimal location

Ideal location in the center of Catania.
After an initial mix-up we still got our ordered apartment. It was clean, the bathrooms however a minor weakness.
Also that in freezing cold one of the air conditioners was not functional due to a defective remote control. Everything was fine in the bedrooms.
The host was friendly and helpful.
All in all, a clear recommendation with small limitations.

Great solution in the heart of Catania.

I spent a night at Palazzo Scammacca on the occasion of the feast of Sant'Agata. I chose it above all for the location, perfect for being in the center and moving easily on foot to the places of my interest. I found myself very comfortable, I checked myself in and received directions via telephone contacts. My room was the B on the first floor, also accessible by elevator. Nice room, large, comfortable, clean, with beautiful colors. Comfortable bed. Two bathrooms: one with shower and sink, the other with toilet with shower-bidet and sink. Quiet room overlooking the inner courtyard. Good and varied breakfast. I had the opportunity to occupy the room two hours earlier than expected and to stay inside the courtyard comfortably after leaving it and until the time of my departure

I stayed six nights at Palazzo Scamacca and I must say that it was an experience bella.Il palace has the charm of elegant Catania residences, the apartment is large, with all the comforts, the use of kitchen and a fantastic terrace.The central location a few steps from the cathedral, the Bellini theater, Via Etnea, in short from the attractions of Catania.Le pastry shops, bistros, restaurants are all around the structure and even in the courtyard of the residence there is a beautiful room where to drink, do tastings, aperitifs or simply listen to a little 'musica.La morning is served a hearty sweet and savory breakfast, with traditional desserts and fruit or fruit salad.The owner very kind but the strength of the structure are the ladies who take care of breakfast and camere.Precise, polite but above all always with a smile, ready to fulfill every wish

A PLEASANT ROOM

I stayed here one night. Very nice apartment in the center of Catania, in a beautiful old building. As soon as you leave you are in a beautiful square with many restaurants. Our apartment consisted of 4 beds on two floors, with kitchen and bathroom. There are still things to finish, for example exposed pipes in some places, but the rest is very nice.
