A pleasant vacation.

Very comfortable hotel, attended to in every detail; very rich breakfast buffet made enjoyable by the wisteria pergola; all the staff is friendly and available. I highly recommend it.

Nice with good and not so good points

First the good points about Hotel Aurelia:
Hotel spotlessly clean everywhere..bedrooms, common parts, pool area and
Beach,
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Dining areas excellent..main dining room and lovely breakfast on terrace,
Ambience very pleasant, surroundings pretty and very relaxing.
However holiday was spoilt by the very,very uncomfortable loungers by the pool and on the beach. These are the very typical Italian canvas based beds with no mattresses and only two positions...flat or half back. NO GOOD IF YOU WANT TO SIT UP AND READ! And certainly no good if you have a dodgy back.
Food in the hotel was only passable. There is a half decent buffet at lunch and dinner(mostly lacking in the more expensive dishes.,.crevettes, smoked salmon etc). Also a menu choice of 5/7 dishes ...lots of fish,,,but mostly
not very tasty, A good choice at breakfast with an egg station and lovely fruit
and pastries.
Desserts always excellent,
This is a family hotel with lots of children so, unless you like noise and baby crying, not recommended for more senior citizens.
Bedrooms, even Deluxe Executive, quite small with tiny balconies but very nice, modern, well equipped bathrooms ...very new and well designed
Showers but if you like a little space you will have to book the next class up

Everything is perfect.

Staying at this hotel is fantastic; the staff is exceptional, available, and super friendly, the room is clean, the beach umbrella is perfect with excellent assistance, and the food is exceptional. I highly recommend it; a special thanks to Andrea, Mauro, and Max from the restaurant who made us feel at home.
