Relaxation mini break
My partner and I spent 4 days at Fondo Brugarolo. It offered us respite from the busy lives we both lead and allowed us to recharge and reconnect. It’s so peaceful, quaint little farm with home grown produce that is served at breakfast and dinner. The pool was a welcome escape from the Italian sun. Paolo and his team couldn’t have done more for us. Paolo recommended that a car would be beneficial before we even set off for our Italian mini break so we rented a car at Bergamo airport. It is a 30 minute drive to the hotel. A massive shopping centre Il Globo is only 5 minutes from the hotel offering everything you could imagine so if travelling with young children the play areas there are fantastic. At the hotel the pool is kept clean - a few insects but to be expected, it’s in the countryside so you have to expect the local wildlife. Paolo and his team run a tight shift, always on hand to help.
Our room was ready hen we arrived and he welcomed us warmly. Room lovely and inviting, clean and tidy. Complimentary bottles of water. Whisking up an omelette for breakfast was no problem.
There is no bar at the hotel but they have a few alcohol beers and wines/prosecco - you just have to ask Paolo and he magically appears with the bottle and glasses! He is some man for one man!
We ate at the restaurant one evening, beautiful meal, compliments to the chef. A little pricey but for home grown organic produce that travelled less than 50m to get to your plate I would not complain so much. The other evenings we drive to the local villages for dinner. Le Tavalzero was amazing for steak dinners- I recommend there.
I had a massage at the wellness centre and wish I could have experienced the spa more, my only regret. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.
A stay at Fondo Brugarolo is however a break for relaxation, and recharge. If this is what you seek then definitely book a visit and hire a car to experience the surrounding Italian countryside.

Simply perfect! We have been customers for years since the beginning and Veronica and her team always give us a warm welcome and make us feel special. Everything is pristine, clean and well maintained. We always relax and enjoy every minute

Out of the Way
Nice stay in the countryside. Specially built apartments. Great breakfast Paola was very helpful. Didn't have time to use the pool or spa. Maybe next time.

We stayed at this property on the occasion of a wedding.
Very large environment divided into various greenhouses / pavilions.
For the event it was all decorated and prepared in detail and the effect was WOW.
Waiters attentive, precise and nice. Good food, gigantic appetizer buffet with every godsend.
Overall I would say recommended because you could see that they were used to hosting events of this type.
Try it anyway in a "normal" context.
