Superb hotel
We were very impressed with the whole experience of staying at the Col Alto. All the staff were outstanding. In particular, Stefano and Esther. The wellness centre was very well appointed, from the pool and jacuzzi to the steam rooms and hot stone beds. The rooms (we stayed in superior rooms) were comfortable, spacious and being at the back of the hotel were very quiet. The food is some of the best we have ever tasted - compliments to the chef! The ski shuttle is very well run and convenient but only goes to the Boe or Borest lifts.
The location is a walk away from the main part of the village but there is a bus stop right outside.
Overall we can highly recommend the Col
Alto Hotel and would love to return.

A hotel that is a true wellness experience
We have known the Hotel Col Alto for years, but the continuous research is the desire to improve amazes us every year. If you want a place that combines traditional Ladin hospitality with a modern and welcoming environment, this is your place.
Everything is attention to detail, fabulous wine list, renovated rooms, the kindness of Stefano and Lucia that make you feel at home.
For skiers like me, you return to Hotel ski on foot!!

Great experience, will be back with family
I stayed at the Hotel Col Alto during the Gran Risa race and the experience was really very positive. Excellent location, convenient to the slopes and perfect for experiencing the atmosphere of Corvara during sporting events.
Nice, welcoming hotel with a very professional service. The cuisine is really top notch, with well prepared dishes and quality ingredients, ideal after a day on the snow. Breakfast is also rich and well organized.
I found myself very well and will definitely return, this time with the whole family. Structure recommended for both skiers and those seeking comfort and good food.

never again
Corvara is now indistinguishable from Rimini, and the Col Alto lends itself perfectly to this part.
We have been staying at the hotel for years, we are not going back. It is located on a roundabout, so it is often noisy and in an ugly area, unfortunately even the rooms facing the opposite side suffer loud noises from the ventilation, filth or otherwise. However the rooms are very nice, although unfortunately our daughter, who is sensitive, had a respiratory crisis from a not thorough cleaning, promptly carried out then the next day solving the problem.
We always found unprepared waiters, undergoing training (in high season, in August).
The spa area looks like Riccione’s water fan, with raids of screaming children, rude adults, rules never respected.
Until a couple of years ago they instructed waiters to refuse to bring tap water to the table, then they got smart and now they only give tap water: at 4 euros per liter.
