An amazing hotel. We had a wonderful 6 nights stay
A very well organised hotel just across the road from the beautiful Lake. We had a superior Lake view room and it was very clean with a great view and amazing sunrise. Clean towels every day. The en suite shower room was beautiful and spacious. We liked the fact that it was a shower rather than a shower over bath. The staff are wonderful, they react & help promptly with any request or query.
The breakfast was superb. Lots of choice and a hot breakfast to order if required. The dining room has a beautiful terrace where you could enjoy breakfast or sit out for a peaceful time afterwards. Comfortable bed and armchair in the room. We even had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco in our room when we arrived.
What would have made it even more perfect?.
A bin in the bedroom and a soft close toilet seat, as it makes a loud noise if you let it go.
Thank you all at Park Hotel for making our holiday one to remember.

Very beautiful
The hotel is furnished very well and you notice it as soon as you enter…. Very beautiful view of the lake. Spacious rooms and very comfortable bed. The breakfast is very abundant and the staff is kind. The only flaw for the level is how the cleaning is managed in the morning…. It feels like being in a laundry room… with carts and vacuum cleaners in the hallways… really ugly to see.

Not impressed
Second visit to Desenzano. Last year we lived at Villa Rosa hotel, which we liked better. Strange service in day time, not very service minded men in reception. When we arrived we where told it was only allowed to drive from the hotel. How could we know it was a market outside when arriving?, none information given, it also said in a sign driving to hotels allowed. Day 2 i asked for housekeeping at 14.00, already agreed on phone with them. A very moody man in reception said it was to late. But housekeeping fixed like agreed. Its a very nice lobby with a small bar open from 17-23. Rest of the common areas very hot & bit outdated. Very slow & hot elevator. Room was very basic, but with good aircondition. Nice view from balcony. No gym in 4 star hotel not good. Small pool area on the roof. Very friendly man working nightshift, but not possibel to check out before 07 because he dont understand english. Its a good location, but unfortunately not so impressed by Park Hotel overall.

We are sorry to read that your second stay in Desenzano did not fully meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify a few points mentioned in your review.
We were particularly surprised by your comment regarding the “strange service” at reception, as our staff consistently receives very positive feedback from our guests for their professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness. Nevertheless, we are sorry if your personal experience gave you a different impression.
Regarding housekeeping, our usual service finishes at 1:30 pm. Following your request, we exceptionally agreed to arrange the cleaning of your room at 2:00 pm, as you had informed us that you would be leaving the room at that time. When our staff came to service the room, however, it was still occupied.
Concerning the temperature in the common areas, we are not entirely sure which areas you are referring to apart from the lobby. If you mean the outdoor areas and garden, the unusually high temperatures during your stay naturally affected these spaces.
As for the elevator, Park Hotel is a relatively small property of only a few floors, so the lift covers a very short distance. While it may not be particularly fast, we believe it is perfectly adequate for the size and structure of the hotel.
Regarding the gym, this is not a facility that Park Hotel advertises or lists among its services.
Finally, we would also like to clarify the check-out procedure. At check-in, every guest receives an information sheet explaining that hotel bills can be settled until 10:30 pm in the evening or from 7:15 am the following morning. Our night porter is there to assist our guests during the night, but the regular reception and cashier service resumes at 7:15 am.
We are nevertheless pleased that you appreciated our location, the view from your balcony, the air conditioning, our lobby and bar, and especially the friendliness of our night staff.
We regret that, overall, your stay did not leave you with the same positive impression that many of our guests experience, and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to clarify these points.

August weekend
We spent a weekend at the Park Hotel for the first time and had a good experience.
Super central location, parking at a more than fair daily cost.
Very kind and helpful staff.
Room comfortable enough, considering it was not one of those with a lake view, which surely must be even better.
The entrance lobby is very nice and well air-conditioned. The common areas are well cleaned.
Breakfast: good and in line with the hotel's category. There is the possibility of having scrambled eggs with bacon and fried eggs made to order at no extra charge.
The dining room service is also good.
We did not try the restaurant and therefore we cannot give an evaluation.
The pool area on the top floor is nice, but the space is very limited.
We really appreciated the tranquility experienced this weekend, also due to the type of clientele present at this time.
If I were to return to Desenzano, I would definitely return to this hotel.

Great hotel.Great location. Great staff.
Great location opposite the lake and an easy walk to the restaurants and the ferry.
Our room was clean and spacious.
The rooftop pool was compact but adequate and we never struggled to get a loungers. Emma who served at the rooftop bar was great!
You can get to the train station and venture to Milan or Verona. You can take a ferry to Sirmione or further afield.
The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and the servers very friendly and attentive.
Recommend the Italian restaurant next door. Truly delicious and plenty if choices.
The hotel bar is small but provides a good offering for a nightcap.
All staff very helpful and friendly.
Would stay again.
