An unforgettable family experience
Our family came to L’Albereta expecting a beautiful hotel. We left inspired by the people..
As hoteliers ourselves, we know that exceptional hospitality is never just about beautiful rooms or fine dining. It is about people. The people who make you feel genuinely welcome, who share their time generously, and who invite you to discover the soul of a place.
Roberta welcomed us as if we were old friends. She didn’t simply show us the property—she shared its stories, its history, its philosophy, and introduced us to places and people behind then scene that we would never have hoped to experience.
Watching our two young sons explore the vineyards, meet the animals, discover hidden corners of the estate and even try to steer the glolf cart under Roberta’s careful guidance was something we will never forget. It wasn’t really about driving the golf cart. It was about the trust, the encouragement and the joy Roberta shared with our boys in that moment. Those are the memories that stay with a family long after a trip is over. Every encounter we made in a property with the people who stand behind was far beyond our expectations.
L’Albereta is a remarkable destination, but what makes it truly extraordinary is the culture created by the people behind it. You can feel that hospitality here comes from genuine care, not from a procedure.

I was there with my partner in May of last year for a day spa (an absolutely positive experience).
We had decided to book at the Leone Felice restaurant for this week. Due to unforeseen personal commitments, I requested the possibility of postponing it by one day via email one day in advance.
The email remained unanswered for hours to the point that I decided to forward it to the other email address provided (the one specific to the restaurants).
Even this email remained completely unanswered after two days.
I believe that responding is a matter of courtesy and respect toward the Customer, especially for a property that boasts five stars.
In the end, we opted for another restaurant that responded with courtesy and very quickly.
I am not in the habit of writing negative reviews but, on this occasion, I consider the behavior unprofessional.

It's no longer worth it.
I started frequenting this relais as soon as it opened with Gualtiero Marchesi's restaurant: over time it has expanded too much in size and number of rooms, losing quality and level of service. The location remains very beautiful, but the maintenance is poor, the level of service is inadequate, and the restaurants that have followed one another over time after Marchesi have had inadequate quality. The SPA no longer has towels (to cut costs) and has terrible service. Room prices, on the other hand, are very high and not appropriate for what is offered.

NO AC, SWELTERING ROOMS, WORST RELAIS EVER
NO WORKING AC, three swelteringly hot suites that were supposed to be their best. The staff just says their dilapidated, poorly maintained property just won’t cool at all in summer. Impossible to sleep. Really not right for families … or anyone, really. Worst Relais experience ever.
