Lovely holiday home

We are 5 families, who rented this beautiful place at the same time. It was brilliant! The area is lovely, the houses nice, clean and well-functioning and the pool is amazing. We give them our highest recommendations!

Not recommended

For the price, it's a cheek. We stayed in the house "Villa Carraia". We absolutely cannot recommend this agriturismo. The kitchen is spartan, there is not even a kettle or a bread knife. The bed linen smelled, from the shower comes only a trickle of water. When asked about the shortcomings, the owner became very annoying and has also given us no small discount, although we stayed instead of the planned 10 nights only 3.
The only nice thing here is the pool, which was actually very well maintained.
In the house it is totally uncomfortable, the lighting like on a factory floor. Also the outdoor area is quite unkempt, was certainly once beautiful, but the signposted path through the forest is totally overgrown, the vines dry up, the animals live partly in decaying crates. For the children there was only an old swing and a baby slide. That's not what we had in mind.

Excellent structure

Excellent structure surrounded by nature. Good educational farm (my daughter was never at home). Accommodation (Villa la Casina) spacious and very well looked after but above all CLEAN. Excellent swimming pool made full use on days off from excursions, which all took place within a 1/2 hour radius (Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Florence) so I would say excellent location. Elisa and her mother are always available and kind. What can I say, we will definitely be back.

Relaxed holiday experience

Relaxed holiday-experience!
We stayed here in the first week of July. The family farm is located in between the beautiful Tuscan nature and the must-see villages and cities are all about 30-60 minute drive.
The rooms are specious, clean and authentic. The pool is an absolute delight, with enough space to enjoy the sun or the shade.
Elisa and her family were very welcoming and helpful. Their recommendations of the area made our holiday even more special and memorable.
We even were invited to a tour around the farm and to see their community projects. It was a pleasure to see the amazing work this family puts in educating and guiding children and people in need. Even in tune with the nature and surroundings of the farm.
Thanks for making our holiday at farmhouse La Serra amazing. We are sure to recommend it to everyone!

Great place to stay in Tuscany

Our stay at La Serra in Crespina, Pisa, Italy was excellent and we highly recommend it. The accommodations were outstanding (better than expected) and the hosts were all friendly and extremely accommodating. While we do not speak any Italian we did not have any trouble communicating with them and enjoyed the experience! The farm was extremely low key but beautiful! It was convenient to Pisa, Sienna, Florence, Luca, San Gimignano and local beaches. We took the offered cooking class on the e=website and it was the highlight of our visit. Also the kitchen in our Villa was sufficiently equipped that we were able to practice what we learned on several occasions. La Serra is highly recommended if you would like a relaxing low key holiday in beautiful Tuscany!
