Wonderful for the price, the double room was huge

This is always my first choice when I stay in Ferrara, cheap, clean and beautiful rooms. The breakfast it's not fresh, but it's rich. The bathroom is shared, but it's very clean. Excellent place.

Four simple reasons not to choose the Fluvial.

Bad experience for various reasons, listed below from most serious to least worst.
1 - In the rooms the heating has not been activated while in the bathroom yes, clear sign of menefreghismo of the well-being of customers. Also provided is a set consisting of blanket and sheet, not suitable for the current temperature and even less for that of the room.
2 - It is reported on the platform the false information that parking is free but once you arrive on site are required 5 euros (which at this point could be invested in heating).
3 - The reception service is unsafe and professional as you are asked for a photo of your ID from a private number. The host does not guarantee to be such as it communicates through an unofficial channel and also does not have any profile photo that refers to the service.
4 - The structure being not very isolated lends itself to making noises heard both from the corridor and from the outside.

Help me!

Where to start? We enter and we find ourselves in the room, which I would call more a furnished room shed. I make to get in the shower and place the towel on the towel warmer (cold) and thank God I realize first that on each tube there is a massive layer of dust. I lie in bed and with immense joy I notice that it envelops me almost completely... it was smashed. Not to mention the cobwebs everywhere and the mosquitoes that I still don’t understand where the hell they came from. Shall we talk about humidity? Enough to wake up with pillows and damp sheets.

horrendous experience

Truly horrible place to avoid. Not suitable for families. Dirty shared bathrooms, worse rooms, without a pillow. A HORROR film. Inside the shared bathrooms there were underwear on the radiator, I would say truly vomiting.

Nice stay, I recommend it

If you are planning to spend some time in Ferrara, short or prolonged, either for tourism, work or study, I strongly recommend this B&B.
Very clean, managed by a very nice and very well-mannered family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and with good climatisation.
It’s just a couple of hundred metres from the historic centre of this beautiful city. Close to bars, restaurants and stores too, since the B&B allows guests to use the fully equipped kitchen for those who wish to cook for themselves. A good continental breakfast is offered. I Recommend Il Fluviale; I had to stay in Ferrara for almost a month for work and I had a comfortable and pleasant stay there.
