Excellent B & B - a real gem!

This was such a great find - it is 15 minutes walk from the stunning centre of Ferrara and the eateries begin within a few doors away.
The welcome is very warm and the owner speaks excellent English. He also prepares your continental breakfast to order each morning!
The wifi is strong and included in the price and the room I stayed in was light and airy with a real historical feel.
The only caution is for car users - this is a medieval city and was not built with us in mind. FIAT 500s manage... just about. There is easy parking 15 minutes walk away or you can get lucky in the streets nearby - I did.
I will certainly look forward to using the Giardino Fiorito again.

Good

Located in an ancient building in the center of Ferrara.
The owner is extremely courteous and welcoming.
The selection of vinyl LPs is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant.
Clean room, shower not always working at its best but nothing special, everything ok.
As with the whole center of Ferrara, parking is a problem but this is not attributable to the B&B :-D
Good breakfast also with fresh croissants

Beautiful room in period Ferrara house

We had a comfortable & spacious room in this lovely family owned B&B in an excellent location right on the edge of the old city. The host Roberto was very friendly & helpful & made us a lovely breakfast every morning. The room was fully equipped with a tiny kitchenette & fridge & the WiFi worked really well.

Spacious and beautiful room within Ferrara walls

Perfect place to stay for a few days visit at friendly Ferrara. Excellent tips from owner Robert for special visit to Monasterium San Augusto and the best trattorias. Do not forget to eat cappalacci and fish!

Wonderful stay and affordable

I was traveling alone to Ferrara to see the wonderful frescoes at the Villa Scifanoia... I found this Bed and Breakfast on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. What a delightful stay... Unfortunately it was only for one night. Roberto was my host and he showed me briefly around the neighborhood which also is the old medieval part of town. Within a couple of hundred feet was a medieval convent that is cloistered but open for viewing - my room had bits of fresco on the wall and wood beam ceiling and I felt safe and welcomed to both the neighborhood and the Giardino Fiorito. I will definitely plan to return for a longer stay and perhaps rent a bicycle for the town welcomes that type of transportation and is quiet enough for you to feel safe doing so.
