The owner is a beautiful and kind lady who will make sure you feel at home while away.

Bed without breakfast

The positives first. The room we had was very spacious, clean and comfortable and the property is attractive and well-positioned and normally we would highly recommend for a bnb particularly as they allowed us to take our dogs in the room but we had a problem here. We admit that the booking was a mistake as we had asked a friend's secretary to book an Airbnb apartment and not just a bed and breakfast and so we had to share one room for the night. We cancelled the remainder of the booked stay for a reasonable cancellation fee - no complaints but we were not served any breakfast even though we had paid for this. We were told it had to be booked the previous night but no-one told us and the notes in the room only mention that a request must be made only if breakfast is wanted on the terrace rather than indoors. Bed and BREAKFAST surely means just that - it doesn't need ordering. We were very hungry as we had not been able to cook anything the night before and were too tired to eat out so an offer of a hot drink and toast would have been something. We didn't argue but just left and paid 7 euro each for breakfast elsewhere. Unacceptable.

Casa dolce casa

The B&B is situated a short distance between Bagnone and Villafranca in Lunigiana. Parking is okay, but up a short track. They have a small dog which is chained in the garden and it barks at your arrival (did not hear it at night). The countryside around is very pretty and the house is large and attractive. The lady of the house cooks biscuits and tarts fresh each morning for your breakfast to be eaten with james and cheeses. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished and looked out onto the garden.

L'accueil était très chaleureux, le couple très présent pour nous satisfaire. La chambre quadruple était très spacieuse , belle et confortable.
Le petit dej 'au top, une très belle région pourtant méconnue et tout ça pour un prix vraiment abordable.
On y retournera!
