A dream stay! Breakfast facing the sea is a real treat.
We stayed 3 nights as a group of three at this hotel; I think it is absolutely among the most beautiful hotels in Varigotti. The room for three people was perfect, also equipped with a small terrace on the street side. Very large bathroom. Despite the location, the room was well soundproofed: with the doors closed and the air conditioning on, the car traffic did not cause any disturbance. The kindness of the staff makes you feel welcomed from the very first moment. The real strong point is the super breakfast served on the splendid terrace facing the sea: there is everything one could wish for, from homemade cakes to fresh fruit salad, to excellent cold cuts, yogurt, juices, and various types of pizza, focaccia, and savory pies. The hotel absolutely deserves its 4 stars, and much more. The price is a bit expensive, but every now and then an extra treat is needed.

We had a simply wonderful vacation at the Hotel Albatros in Varigotti, and we wish to express our sincerest gratitude to all the staff for the excellent service we received.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warmth, availability, and professionalism that are truly rare to find. Every detail was taken care of with attention, making us feel pampered and at home throughout our stay. The quality of the services offered, the organization, and the attention to guests contributed to making this experience unforgettable.
A special thanks goes to Francesca, Marco, and GianPaolo, whom we had the pleasure of meeting personally, and who, with their smiles, kindness, and dedication, made our stay even more enjoyable. A beautiful discovery, finally relaxation!
A very positive experience at the Albatros hotel. Everything is very well maintained, charming, and the staff is very kind and helpful; the owner is very friendly and always ready to give tips on places to visit or restaurants to try!
Deluxe sea view room on the second floor overlooking the sea, perhaps a bit dated and in need of renovation, but overall it was fine! The breakfast was quite varied. The Albatros beach establishment is conveniently accessed via a staircase from the hotel. They accept small dogs without any problems. The umbrellas are well spaced apart.
Overall, for the location, the tranquility, and the beautiful sea, I would gladly return!!!!

A Perfect Hotel in A Perfect Place.
This was our first time to the Riviera Ponente, and it won't be our last. My husband and I traveled here with our two Italian friends. The Hotel Albatros will not disappoint you. Its location right on a beautiful beach with comfortable lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels overlooks the Ligurian Sea. Breakfasts are included, and they are delightful. You can dine inside or out, and the capuccino is my favorite. Besides excellent accommodations, the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. They know how to deliver customer service and make you feel special. The room has all the amenities one would desire - great bed, good lighting, ample closet, strong shower with good toiletries. There is a small refrigerator and tea and coffee are available. We even had a balcony overlooking the street. I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone traveling along the beautiful beach towns from Genoa to Ventimiglia.

Eccellente Hotel - highly recommended - top quality hotel and staff - best breakfast and ideal beachfront location.
We would like to take the time to write a review of this hotel as the staff deserve a big thanks - Grazie!
We arrived late at the hotel due to driving across Italy (lots of roadwork diversions) and were welcomed at 1:00am.
We found breakfast absolutely amazing with fresh cooked high end food available. Awesome! There were a choice of places to sit inside and out. The coffee was excellent.
The location is ideal, with many beaches to choose from, from larger busy beaches to smaller quieter ones. All with an easy walk. The larger town is a long walk or a short drive away.
The staff give great advice on where to go for meals and beach. So you are well looked after.
We really liked the authentic Italian Experience, we got from the hotel and the local area.
The room, although small (on the backside of the building) was excellent and fully featured and still had a really nice hillside view.
We would have loved to have stayed for 2 weeks. Hopefully we will get the chance to come back.
In short highly recommended!
