Got the job done

This is a great hotel to stay at if you’re flying in or out of FCO. The room is very basic and small with a comfortable bed. You have a grocery store next door with laundry. There aren’t a lot of close restaurants. There are a few though. The owner is very helpful and brought us to FCO off schedule. Definitely a good choice for airport stays.

Great stay at Villa Rosita

We stayed at Villa Rosita for the night before our flight home. The villa was clean and very quiet even though is only a few miles for Rome’s Fiumicino Airport. Frederico, a very friendly host, provided transfers from and to the airport (30 Euros round trip for 2 people). It is a great value if you need accommodations when arriving in or departing from Rome.

Surprise

We chose to be near the airport and it was just one night. But the place is quite pleasant, made us feel at home. Not to mention we were very well received. And away but we had an indication of muitoboa restaurant

Quiet stay for an airport overnight

We were looking for an airport hotel that wasn't a big chain. This is a small 5-room home converted into a hotel. It was clean, 15 min by shuttle (15 Euro per couple) to the airport and just all we needed. The owner was very helpful and we would stay there again if the need arose. Not much to do in the area, but we walked 15 min to a local restaurant which was a huge bonus. Trattoria Al Monte is one of those neighbourhood places where there are no tourists and all the local families come for Friday night dinner. It was hopping, the food was delicious and inexpensive, and the service was welcoming but all in Italian.

LOVE this peaceful spot!

Little gem in a quiet, safe neighborhood - walking distance to great restaurants especially Trattoria Al Monte! Super clean with a very good self-serve breakfast (perfect if you are leaving early for the very close airport) and the sweet hotel owner will drive you to the airport for a small fee. We loved our stay and wish we had more time!
