Excellent location. One downside is the toilet in the room.

Excellent location. Just steps away from the Duomo... in the heart of the San Lorenzo district. Clean room. The manager is a delightful and accommodating person. Now for the downsides: the room has a bathroom with a sink, bidet, and shower... but the toilet is missing. The description was not very clear at the time of booking. The room is not properly soundproofed, and you can hear the noise from the street. It is true that it overlooks the center, but a bit more soundproofing would not hurt.
Not recommended for those with mobility disabilities because accessing the building requires climbing a steep staircase with more than a few steps.
Overall, it was still a positive experience.

Alright

Very pleasant welcome, also in French which is quite appreciable when you have average English! Very clean bedding, (and God knows I'm annoying about that) clean room and bathroom as well. Well located hotel not far from the Duomo. I highly recommend

Perfect location and amazing staff!

What an amazing hotel, especially for only being 1 star! Perfect location, literally 2 minutes walking distance from the Duomo. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Only downside is that there's no A/C, but with the fan on and the windows open it wasn't bad at all. The staff was very nice and the owner was the sweetest woman ever! Would definitely stay here again!

Bad service,no WiFi, amazing location

Location is great, very central (if the room faces the street, you may need earplugs to block out the street noise). The lady who claims to be the owner has zero hospitality skills. When I asked for a fork and bottle opener she refused to give one so I think the word hotel is incorrect to use, as the hotel does not provide anything other than rooms. So many rules from the owner! She was even trying to tell us that we are not allowed to drink in the room as someone in the past spilled wine on a wall. We had a room with shared bathroom which wasn't a problem, the bathroom was clean. There was no wifi there what makes planning your activities difficult

CANCELED MY BOOKING WITHOUT A REFUND！

I booked two nights at their hotel, but our train was late and they refuse to help us to check in after 9pm. This morning , I see on the booking they canceled our two nights booking directly without asking us.I should still have one night at their hotel. And our money cannot be refund. I cannot even make a comment on the booking.And during the conversation with them , they are very rude to us. Keeping blaming us all the time without any sympathy. But they did not tell us this policy until the day we arrive. And I just cyied because they really hurt me. This is my first time to florence and I tell myself I will never come here again.
