Budget hotel..but comfortable

The Casa Del Lago had a problem with a room, flooding, and we were relocated to another property for one night. The Casa was clean and we had a great view over the Arno and could see Uffizi Museum walking distance away.
The breakfast was very simple without a lot of choice.

They need to improve

Pros: Great breakfast, strong wifi signal, helpful staff.
Cons: Broken shower door, no tv in the room, two beds were pushed together to make a "large bed." Not comfortable since you sink into the middle of the two beds. Plus the staff accidentally doubled charged me and it took me 21 days from the time they issued the refund to be put back into my account. This sort of was a headache to deal with when I kept calling my bank and agoda to track the refund.
If you are on a very tight budget, you could stay here. But it's probably best to keep looking.

Horrible

It is a very bad hotel, very miserable, everything is broken. The shower cabin was broken, the tv is actually a monitor that does not work, the wals made of paper so you hear everything from your neighbours. The breakfast is horrible, you cannot eat anything. The cleanliness is horrible and the bed is just like a bed in hospital. Just don't go there!

Casa del sh*t

The worst so called 3 star hotel ever!!! Avoid at all costs. The bed fell apart in the middle of the night we found a used shampoo bottle in the shower which looked like it had been there for weeks. We saw the cleaning lady go into our room (we arrived a couple hours early) and she only spent 10 minutes in there and came out with no sheets. Hygiene is definitely one of the biggest problems. Breakfast had a very small selection and the room is quite small so we had to wait for a table.

Shower door broken kept reporting it they put two pieces of tape to keep top frame secure never got fixed..
had dirty pillowcases so took them off and told reception..room not cleaned daily
There is a nice girl called Karina on reception who tries to help but would not recommend this hotel
