The check-in and staff were great. The room had a refrigerator that didn’t work and the heating/cooling system didn’t work.
The breakfast buffet was very good. Strangely, they gave us a spoon and a knife but never a fork.
The check-out was easy and they called us a cab right away. Bus C1 takes you right downtown to all the sights!

SEMI-PESSIMISSIMA

Too much waiting time between courses, pasta with inedible sauce, was found inside a hair, in addition it was cold watery and with little tomato and salt.
That's totally unacceptable.

My daughter was on a trip to Florence,
Food inedible and poor, the soup kitchen looks better, hair in pillowcases and little cleanliness, a three star is totally exaggerated, in my part they are called inns... All the boys complained and between parents we exchanged photos and comments of the boys... Never again

Hotel was clean, with all the necessities that are in the room or provided at the reception. There was a bathtub in our room also. The location is good, tram and bus station is close. Another good thing is the cheap price of the drinks in this hotel.
The bad thing is that on the second day the staff that they ran out of toothbrush, which was unfortunate. The cleaners also didn't clean our room, even though we reminded the receptionist. The staff gave us clean towels in the end.

The hotel seems dark and dingy but is clean and the rooms are serviced daily. The front desk staff is friendly and excellent and was able to readily answer all of our questions. The breakfast provided at the hotel is excellent and filling - better than most I have had in Italy. The location is very convenient to public transportation around Florence as well as to and from the airport and central train station (the tram is one block away). There is a convenient supermarket and pharmacy at the corner with an extremely helpful, English speaking staff. (They immediately spoke to me in English when I attempted to converse in Italian.) There is a restaurant next door run by a guy from Naples that was top notch - good food and service.
