Well, apart from the curtain

Hotel in via Nazionale, very convenient location for any place in the center, structure a little demodé but still nice, comfortable beds, bad shower with curtain, 2026 you can not!! We did not use the breakfast but walking past it seemed really well stocked, friendly staff.

BUT also no!!!

As soon as I arrived, the guy at the reception asked me to pay the tourist tax of 6 euros and got annoyed because I hadn't counted it out and he had to give me change. The room was tiny without a minibar, and the bathroom was dilapidated with a showerhead dirty with limescale that didn't let the water flow out. If it weren't for the location just steps from the station, I would have spent a whopping 144 euros for a 3-star hotel that is worth half of that.
Avoid it.
Like the Plague.

Cute but simple.

Clean hotel in good central location. The lobby is almost non-existent: a corridor with two sofas. The elevator very slow. The room very nice although small. The bathroom would need maintenance: some broken tiles, tub with accessories not in good condition.
The breakfast ladders are very pretty and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. The staff was very friendly.

Just to put the review in perspective we had room 53, which was on the second floor and the outlook was over the interior across some roofs.
The room was a great size, lots of space for luggage and moving around etc, great sized bathroom.
We spent 2 nights out of our 8 night Italian trip here at Hotel Victoria and out of the 4 hotels we stayed at this one was the best!
The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the train station and only a matter of yards from the indoor and leather markets.....all the major attractions are within easy walk.
The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, plenty of choice and all fresh. The room was the best we experienced and the restaurant a few doors up from the hotel called Matto Matto is well worth a visit, wonderful food and service at very reasonable prices!
The staff were all lovely and the hotel was clean with a wonderful array of smells as you walked around it.
