AMAZING TIME!!
We had the most AMAZING 7 night stay at Grand Hotel Le Rocce!! The staff was so wonderful, welcoming and kind! The front desk arranged private drivers for us on 2 different days for day trips. The included breakfast was fabulous every morning and so were all the choices for lunch. The gourmet dinners were fresh and high quality. We swam in the ocean every day and the water temperature was perfect and the cove makes the water shallow enough to swim out quite far.
Be prepared for all the stairs. From the beach to our room we counted 247 stairs! Believe me though….it was worth every single step!!

Spectacular
The Location is incredibly beautiful.
The room was amazing. Very clean.
I personally really liked the personal, which were always extremely helpful and kind. Whereever you go, there are employees ready to assist you.
We arrived late at 11 p.m., but there was still a receptionist and a valet to bring our bags to the room.
The dinner was just spectacular! Beautifully arranged, acompanied by live music. Don‘t miss this!
The water was crystal clear and the view from the beach just spectacular. The private beach is wedged between cliffsides and its magnificant. We felt like we were dreaming. „Is this really happening?“
I can recommend the couples massage ;)

Nice hotel on the Gulf of Gaeta
We discoved the hotel through Instagram and stayed one week.
What we did like is the private beach and the scenery, view from the room amazing, and the room has some charm.
Sometimes we had good service like at the main restaurant, sometimes it was lacking professionalism: for example at the beach restaurant: very limited choice (no pizza, only a few salads), and the staff seems uninterested by the service to customers, the hotel should make some efforts to improve the quality and choice.
We enjoyed our time at the bar in the evening and the waitress was very professionnal: she was making perfert Rossini cocktails.
Breakfast was ok, nothing special , you can order your own omelette.
The room is pretty small, we paid over 500 euros a night (flexible rate) so disappointed for the price paid.
As we stayed a week, we wanted to eat elsewhere and we recommend to go to Sperlonga beautiful village with amazing restaurants: thanks to the concierge for the advises. Gaeta was more of a disappointment for restaurant and town but we did like the sunset boat trip proposed by the hotel.
The Spa could be more sophisticated, it is only a room, hotel could make some investments to have a proper Spa with cold pool and steam room for example.
We also missed lively music in the evenings.
So overall 4 out 5 as for the price paid, we were expecting a higher standard for the service and the room.

Some rooms are updated more than others but the only difference is the bathroom. AC is good. Bed is good. Room is clean. Room cleaning staff is good. Breakfast is good. Restaurant for dinner is good excellent. Food staff/waiters are excellent. Everyone very nice. Only drawback is the stairs to go anywhere on the property. You will descend and climb hundreds of stairs on a daily basis. So you need to be in shape to stay at this hotel. There’s not much to do in Gaeta city overall. There’s a lot of restaurants some good and some ok.
