Beautiful home from home. Great hosts.
From the minute we drove in it felt like home.
Perfect location for us with a car. The air up on the hill was very welcome.
Mauro’s welcome was lovely and the consideration of our rooms all being together was great.
The access to a communal fridge for drinks was helpful, beer water soft drinks and prosecco easy to access at any time of day.
The rooms were perfect, homely and each room a different feel.
We would love to come back again.

A fairy-tale vacation in a wonderful location
We returned yesterday after spending 2 nights and 3 days in this splendid structure and we can say we truly had a fairy-tale experience!
The location is immersed in tranquility, perfect for those who wish to disconnect from routine and rejuvenate. The structure is very family-oriented, with few rooms, which makes the atmosphere even more relaxing and pleasant, never crowded.
The pool is simply spectacular, with a breathtaking view that makes every moment even more special.
A special thanks to Luca, the owner, who has always been very kind and available since the moment of booking. He gave us excellent advice on restaurants and beaches, helping to make our stay even more enjoyable. Even the gentleman who takes care of breakfast has always been friendly, cordial, and available.
In short, it was a wonderful vacation in a fabulous location, equipped with all the necessary services for a relaxing stay. We felt at home and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Tranquility and Relaxation...
We stayed at Dad's Villa for 4 nights under mid-August 2024, we felt immediately at ease, spectacular views and absolute tranquility!
We had a little problem with the weather for the first 2 nights (it turned off after a while that we turned it on), and immediately Mr. Luca, took care of the problem, first buying a floor fan, used the second night, then calling a technician who solved the problem.
Breakfast is plentiful and early in the morning you could smell the freshly baked croissants, from the rooms.
Equip yourself with transportation because you need the car to go to the old town.
Highly recommended!

NIGHTS IN WHITE
We think this is a constructive criticism, considering the cost.
At the modest amount of € 410 for two nights the house is nice and well located, enjoys a panoramic view of the Gulf of Gaeta, and the main centers of interest are close enough.
Key points of criticism:
1. Rooms: if you want to spend nights in white at a cost of 410€ for two nights you are in the right place! Aware of the fact that the air conditioning did not work already in the previous 5 days the Owner deliberately chose to rent the room, I repeat, for two days at a cost of 410€! August 13 and 14 with 40 degrees in the shade! He told us about the fault as soon as we arrived, about having to try to turn the power off and on again from the main electricity Dashboard, and despite trying every 10-15 min it never worked! Failures and unforeseen events may be the order of the day, they are understood and understood, but we cannot understand the bad faith in choosing to put us through two days of hell from the scorching heat! He didn't make any room changes, so if that was unusable just warn, we wouldn't leave!
2. Pool: from the photos it may look great, the pictures are a bit misleading, but it is a standard pool. In addition, the water turned out to be cloudy to the point of having to do maintenance during daylight hours, thus being unusable in the main hours. Sweat bathing at night was not enough, daytime sweat bathing was added.
3. Breakfast: abundant sweet, poor quality salty.
4. The gardens are poorly maintained, just a little 'outdoor insecticide for insects, mosquitoes and ants (ants that we found ourselves quietly in the room, in the bed, in the bathroom) and a little 'care for mowing, since as repeated earlier, the structure deserves.

Mi spiace ci siano stati problemi durante il vostro soggiorno di due notti, tanto da recensire così negativamente la nostra struttura (è la prima volta che capita). Di questo mi sono scusato continuamente, anche se i problemi erano indipendenti dalla nostra volontà. Devo però precisare alcune delle cose da lei scritte che non corrispondono a verità.
1. Condizionatori: I problemi con i condizionatori delle camere nel vostro corridoio sono sorti il giorno stesso del vostro arrivo e NON prima. Io vi ho subito avvisato che c’erano stati questi due episodi in giornata (erano andati in blocco, probabilmente a causa degli sbalzi di tensione che da qualche giorno - questo sì - si presentavano spesso. A dirla tutta, noi siamo stati anche fortunati: il sovraccarico di energia per i troppi condizionatori accesi per il caldo sta tenendo diverse zone di Gaeta senza completamente l’energia elettrica da oltre una settimana ogni sera dalle 20 a mezzanotte). Vi ho detto che in caso di nuovo blocco (sempre sperando non ci sarebbe stato) potevate chiamarmi o alternativamente ripristinare la situazione (come avevo fatto in giornata) da quadro elettrico. Purtroppo gli episodi si sono ripetuti. In quei giorni (Ferragosto, quando l’Italia si ferma) sono stato alla ricerca disperata di un’assistenza tecnica, ma l’ho trovata solo successivamente alla vostra partenza e tra il 15 e il 16 hanno riparato il guasto. Quindi nessuna malafede da parte mia, questo proprio no, perché vi ho immediatamente avvisato di quello che era accaduto in giornata. Il cambio stanza non potevo offrirvelo (l’avrei fatto senza neanche parlarvi dei problemi dei condizionatori, se avessi potuto) semplicemente perché ero al completo.
2. Piscina: La piscina, sempre a causa dell’enorme caldo che ormai imperversa da un mese, nonostante i valori di pH e cloro fossero normali, ha presentato per 2-3 giorni (proprio quelli in cui avete soggiornato) torbidità, che sono riuscito poi a togliere grazie ad alcuni prodotti (flocculante) che avevo terminato e che stavo aspettando dall’assistenza. Un giorno ho dovuto aggiungere un po’ di cloro in giornata (solitamente lo faccio la sera quando gli ospiti sono fuori a cena) per tentare di rendere l’acqua più limpida, ma il disservizio è durato per un paio d’ore.
3. Colazione: De gustibus…
4. Formiche: L’insetticida viene passato regolarmente attorno alla struttura. Naturalmente essendo immersa nel verde, le formiche ci sono: è il loro mondo e noi siamo gli invasori. Se crede di poterle eliminare con un po’ di granulare, evidentemente la sua esperienza con le formiche si limita a quelle del vaso di gerani sul balcone in pieno centro città. Se invece le ha trovate in camera (cosa strana, solitamente sono all’esterno, ma può sempre capitare), mi chiedo perché non mi abbia detto nulla: avremmo risolto immediatamente, cambiando le lenzuola e spargendo un po’ di insetticida. Evidentemente lei rientra in quella categoria di persone (purtroppo sempre più numerose) che preferisce lamentarsi successivamente e sublimare altro con recensioni negative al cercare di risolvere al momento una situazione spiacevole.
