A stone's throw from the station, practically perfect
Domenico masterfully manages the three rooms a stone's throw from the station. Common space for breakfast, rooms with all amenities, try the one furnished in Versace style. Great value for money. Perfection is close

Beautiful rooms, but the climb is quite a workout .
Bed & breakfast near the station but at the end of a steep climb, suitable for those with small luggage, but for those with large luggage for a cruise, plus I was with an elderly person and a 6-year-old child with just as much luggage, it was not easy. When I realized the location not mentioned on the website, the owner, who was very kind, helped me with a suitcase... However, the other people almost had a heart attack getting there... I received a lot of comments about "where I had booked"... the owner was kind, helped with the luggage, then the property is inside a building with a first flight of stairs before reaching the elevator... none of this is mentioned on the website... yes, it is not feasible for those with limited mobility and elderly with heavy luggage. Another 20 steps to drag 25 kg suitcases up the stairs. Then a small elevator... Arriving at the apartment... A nice clean room with all the comforts, the breakfast was very poor with supermarket snacks, loaf bread, and jam. A little bit of milk. Okay, the cost is competitive... the owner is kind, but the location is absolutely not recommended for those with large luggage. Even though it is 300 meters away, it is 300 meters uphill, and with luggage over 20 kg, it is not advisable. Moreover, taxis do not take you because cars do not pass through the narrow street, so everything must be done on foot. I don't think I would return because of the memory of the great effort I made...

RUN AWAY!
Ideal location near the Aquarium of Genoa and restaurants. The room is okay, the breakfast is okay too, but the welcome is totally disappointing: the host was in a hurry, unpleasant, spoke only English and I had to ask him to speak in Italian. He took the liberty of sending me a message on WhatsApp in English asking me exactly what time I arrived, even though I had already told him the day before that I would arrive in the middle of the afternoon. He didn’t even care how well our stay went, didn’t bother to get the key back and just answered WhatsApp in English asking for an opinion. Benevolence and humanism would be a real plus. That is my opinion, sir.

Misleading Accessibility and an Unpleasant Host Response
This was one of the most disappointing experiences in my many years of travelling.
I have limited mobility — I walk with a cane, although I travel actively and independently. Unfortunately, the accommodation description was misleading in terms of accessibility. The property is located on a steep uphill slope, making it physically impossible to reach the entrance with luggage.
No assistance was offered, and a refund was refused, leaving me with no choice but to book alternative accommodation at additional expense.
What made the situation particularly unpleasant was the attitude of the hosts. In written correspondence, I was told that Genoa has “no flat areas”, and that people who have difficulty walking should therefore reconsider visiting the city at all.
This is simply untrue. I reached another hotel on foot with luggage without difficulty and walked many kilometres along Genoa’s beautiful, flat promenades during my stay.
A stay that unfortunately combined misleading information with a striking lack of empathy and understanding of what hospitality is meant to be.

Structure close to the port
The structure is housed in a building so it is truly the classic bed & breakfast., nothing recalls a hotel. We were in Genoa for the visit of a cruise ship, so its strength was definitely the proximity to the port. The description on the website said “large double bedroom”; the large rooms in my experience are larger than the one we slept in, but it was very very pretty. The bathroom instead was tremendously small and very very wet; the wipes in the morning we found wet! Breakfast is not freshly prepared but prepared in advance, croissants packaged, and generally a bit 'everything reflects the breakfast you make at home. Not evil, not great. The parking adjacent to the b & b can be reached with a fairly challenging climb for drivers not accustomed to that type of narrow streets. but once parked there, it 'very convenient proximity car - b & b. The other car park affiliated with the structure, in case the adjacent spaces are no longer available, is basically a large garage, certainly more convenient to reach by car, but you must leave the keys to the caretaker who moves your vehicle as needed. Luckily we found a free space adjacent to the structure because we had not been informed of having to hand over the car keys, and we would not have wanted to do so, so in case of obligation to leave the car there I do not know how it could have ended. The owner of the facility with us was however very kind and helpful.
