Enjoyed a fabulous student field trip here
This resort with its little red houses under huge Palm trees and the friendly staff are a real treasure. Hidden in an exotic park and very close to the beach you can enjoy peaceful holidays on the north coast of Sicily. San Giorgio is a nice little fishing village and an ideal base for day trips to the Aeolian Islands and Mount Etna.
We've enjoyed beautiful fall days with our 40 students from Germany (Grade 12) and will definitely come back for another and hopefully many more field trips.
Mary is the manager of the resort and was unbelievable helpful and heartwarming friendly. Good as gold! She was available for us 24/7 and did much more as one would expect which included translating at the doctor's, nightly rides to the pharmacy and organizing our trips to the volcanoes.
Theodore, the owner of the restaurant "La Pineta" and his team reacted on our individual requests which is also more than you would expect while traveling in a group of 42!
We can't be more thankful and will definitely return to this fantastic place!

Nightmare holiday... I don't recommend it
Old and dirty structure.
Not to mention the staff... terrible! He didn't answer me all week....he arrived for the day I had to pay.
Disco ball until 5/6 in the morning and then people started honking loudly because they were drunk.
Spiders, ants, mosquitoes and lizards were inside the house and outside in the house ...
It feels like being in the middle of the forest, not in a garden.
Not to mention that there is a washing machine for all mini apartments...
A mess.
Not to mention the staff... terrible! He didn't answer me all week....he arrived for the day I had to pay.

Beautiful location and a generous host!
We've had a wonderful stay in 'Il baglio Ruffo', one of the appartments hosted by Mary. She is a generous host who is practically always available for suggestions or help in a very quick and effective approach. The appartment has a beautiful and large garden with a wide view over the sea growing olives and other fruits. The appartment is located very well for visiting the beautiful Milazzo (from where you can take a boat to the Aeolian islands), the pittoresque bath place of Cefalu, driving up the mountains for great sightseeing and many other attractions. You can park your car on the secured terrain next to the appartment. I recommend this place for people who want to do some activities or who just want to relax and enjoy the weather. One reminder; make sure to bring some protection for mosquitos, they are thirsty in the whole of Sicily!

Beautiful corner of nature
Our stay at Le Palme Garden was excellent except the train passing by quit loudly from time to time (we would prefer to be warned about it at the reception). All the others aspects, including the casetta, the beach and even the nice weather were impeccable!!!!! Perfect destination and perfect place for the vacation.

Our best holiday!
In september of 2013 year our family had a great chance to spend nice holiday in "Le palme garden"(San Giorgio).We had a lot of emotions!
If you ask me, were to have a rest with children, I will unambiguously say: just "Le palme". There is so beautiful, calm and comfortable place! More over you will enjoy a beach and the sea, which is nearby. Especially I want to mention the high quality of service. Big gratitudes to helpful, positive and good englishspeaking(in Sicily it is unusual) stuff. Special thanks to Nadia!!! She is a wonderful person, who can easily manage with all kind of problems!
I think our family will remember that 2week holiday forever. And we hope you will experience it too.
