Consigliatissima
Io e mio marito abbiamo trascorso tre giorni in questa struttura insieme ad alcuni amici di mio figlio. La casa offre tutti i comforts possibili; i padroni di casa sono molto gentili e disponibili ( molto graditi sono stati i pomodori coltivati da loro che ci hanno offerto); la piscina è al top! Tutto molto pulito e curato nei particolari.

Good Accommodation That Could Be Excellent
The Holiday Apartment Villa Fiorita is located on a hill in Gioiosa Marea, easily accessible by navigator (which is not obvious since in Gioiosa several places are not indicated correctly - see the UniCredit Bank).
The House has three mini apartments converted from a Villa, with a beautiful shared pool accessible behind.
Pro
- Pool kept very well! Perfect for those with children or even for adults who want to relax; also available inflatables (two single mattresses and a mega doughnut)
- Pool bar with cheap prices for breakfast (hot croissants are baked but only on request the greenhouse before...), snacks and good cocktails
- The houses are built in a basement of the owners residence, so on the one hand they all have three of the terraces / gardens, but on the other hand (the bedrooms), are without windows, which is a Pro because the houses are very cool (we stayed in the house Cicala for 17 nights and the first week of August we did not even have to turn on the air conditioning) and do not have direct sun (however on the terraces there are nice pergolas). But this lack will also be a Cons...
- In the property there are three wonderful cats very quiet and very sociable that will drive your vs children crazy and will be able to ask for a cuddle even to adults less animal lovers...
- We stayed in a small house (Cicala) with 5 beds, divided into two rooms: one with three single beds that has a window overlooking the living room / kitchenette (so there is no direct window from which to take light). There is a comfortable wardrobe, 3 bedside tables and a wall television. The size allows you to safely stay in the room carrying three small trolleys. The second room, is the master bedroom with a double bed, two bedside tables and a wardrobe. Also here there is a wall TV. Again there are good spaces around. The room has a window overlooking a cavity so not in direct light. The window has a mosquito net. And there is a bathroom with a very large shower, bidet, toilet and sink but no window (there is an aerator).
- The house is accessed from a terrace / garden equipped with table, 6 chairs, two deck chairs, clothesline and clothespins
- For the three apartments are available two barbecue (stone), shared
- As soon as you enter you enter a living room / kitchenette to which belong the three doors for the other three rooms: the two bedrooms above and a bathroom (with window, with mosquito net, on the garden). In general, the layout of the rooms, considering the spaces present, is very good.
- Presence of washing machine, two phones (wall), in the two bathrooms available.
- Kitchen accessories: many accessories available or available to owners
- Parasol available on request
- Last but not least: the cleaning of the house really impeccable! (Only suggestion: also change or clean the hood filter and the doors that contain the pots, as they were very strong smells of the dishes cooked by other guests...)
- Availability parking for two cars but since we stayed in 5 in the largest house
Against
- the lack of windows is true that makes the house cool, but the air does not circulate especially on warmer days... it should be expressly indicated that there are rooms without windows
- The presence of cats should be indicated in the description as those who are allergic, as I am, could spend a really bad time... especially in houses like these where there are no windows for proper ventilation
- Mattresses not of great quality neither on the singles nor on the spring Double and not new: on this point I had expressly asked the Owner 3/4 months before if the mattresses were new and he had answered yes ... but they are mattresses of at least 3/4 years old in my opinion not of excellent quality and that have exacerbated my back pain ... also the bases are to be changed as they creak at the slightest movement ... after a few days I immediately pointed this out to Mr. Giacomo and after giving this feedback, I saw a change in attitude: in short, I saw him resent this feedback! Now that I write this review I find myself in a 3-star village hotel where the mattresses are new: even if these are definitely not of excellent quality, at least being new (because they are probably changed often), they make you rest properly!
- Not having the opportunity to invite some guests to the pool (maybe even after an extra payment or following presentation of identity documents), is in my opinion something unacceptable: it should at least be indicated initially in the house rules, which were never actually provided ... so I really find the explanation given to me by area, which is a house rule ... after you pay € 3500 for 17 nights, let’s say that the thing is quite annoying and it would take more flexibility ... I must then indicate that this impossibility to invite guests to the pool (it is possible to invite them to dinner but not to the pool ...), was communicated to me by the Owner when I specifically asked him, coincidentally a few days after my negative feedback on the quality of the beds ... maybe it will just be a coincidence
- A roller fly screen is missing in the entrance French window, to prevent wasps, mosquitoes and the sweet kittens mentioned above from entering...
In short, light and shadow on a holiday that began with the best assumptions...
The Pros of the house are many and really the house looks good, but for more than 200 € per night, the lack of windows (and proper ventilation especially for allergy sufferers) and comfortable beds is something really unpleasant...
In my opinion these houses are not good for such long periods if then you can not live them fully (for example by inviting friends...), as you can do instead with other houses that are around or on AirBNB (and right in Gioiosa Marea or in the immediate vicinity).
Finally: the end-of-stay aperitif by the pool was appreciated, but for the cost of the house, it would have been useful, also to make up for the shortcomings mentioned above, organize other aperitifs or maybe offer breakfast or drinks by the pool or find a welcome basket with some typical products ... in short, small gestures that would certainly have made this so dear holiday less bitter.

Bellissima vacanza in famiglia
Abbiamo soggiornato nella struttura per dieci giorni: due adulti e due bambini di 8 e 12 anni. La casa immersa nel verde è molto accogliente, dotata di tutti i confort descritti. I padroni di casa sono persone molto discrete ma sempre disponibili a risolvere eventuali problemi. Fantastica la piscina, che è stata apprezzata molto dai bambini.
