A blast from the past!

Located in the heart of the old town, this guest house offers basic accommodation, but embellished with a vintage and captivating style, which allows you to breathe in the atmosphere of yesteryear.
The country is lovely and everything and on a human scale.

Nice experience

We stayed for a very short time, because of passing, but the peace and atmosphere that there is in this structure invite you to stay. The location is in a small village, the apartment we occupied had a panoramic view of the valley, the environment is open and airy, cleanliness and comfort, thanks Carlo for the hospitality, see you soon❤️

Unique experience

I stayed in the “Black Petra” facility for one night with my boyfriend using a Smartbox.
The house is uniquely furnished and reflects the nineteenth-century decor, making you go back 200 years. We did not use the kitchen but there was everything you need to be able to cook, the rooms were clean, the only flaw is that being all made of stone took a long time to warm up.
The reception was great and the gentleman was always very helpful. The optimal location in the middle of the stone streets and next door there is a very good oven.
The village is cozy and with breathtaking views, we highly recommend the property and a visit to Giuliano di Roma!

Love Giuliano di Roma

Our stay at La Preta Nera took us back in time. My father was born in that house and lived there until he was 15. Riccardo did a wonderful job of bringing the home up to some of the comforts we enjoy today while keeping the feel of much earlier days.
The short walking distance to the village piazza for our morning cappuccino was the best start to the day.
Walking through the old world narrow streets, lined with pots of greenery and flowers, made the walk enjoyable even up some of the hilly streets.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, friendly, quaint place to relax, La Preta Nera is for you.

Old World Charm

My first trip ever to Europe started at La Preta Nera... which is the house where my father lived when he was a boy in the 1920's-30's. Riccardo is a wonderful, accommodating host, always looking to make sure everyone is having the best time possible. The B&B has been lovingly modernized by him, yet it still holds it's rustic charm. It is located on we thought was the prettiest street in town and a bakery filled with delicious treats is just a few steps away (they also make amazing pizza on Fridays). The locals always greeted us with a smile and a 'buongiorno' on our short walk to have our morning cappuccino in the square. The restful, relaxing and friendly atmosphere was the perfect way to begin our vacation.
