Compliments ! Kindness, beauty and....cats included !

We were here for only one night returning from a trip ...also to celebrate a birthday. The castle is located in a decidedly isolated place, but it is worth it for the peace that you breathe...Suggestive and very beautiful place, combined with the kindness of the welcome ! the young man even told us something about the history of the place while accompanying us directly to the room. Elevator decidedly slow, but absolutely in line with the historic place. Elegant decor with works of art along the hallway. The room, which was already deluxe, was decidedly large. Antique yet modern style, with parquet flooring and truly elegant details. A bathroom that was not very big, modern, but with a whirlpool tub that, for the first time, I used (initially it didn't work, they had to help me...not all the jets were working, but oh well..) Beautiful view of the inner courtyard, comfortable bed, silence....The castle is like a fairy tale, I enjoyed the silence on the large terrace that looks out only onto hills and nature....and I enjoyed the three big cats that live there, splendid! cuddly and calm...I would have liked to stay there for several days ! The dinner booked at their restaurant, very beautiful. A treat with every course, the maitre d' was extraordinarily kind and brought the dessert with a surprise candle to make the occasion special (he even offered us two glasses of wine so we could toast! )by candlelight, excellent courses, warm bread to choose from..their oil so tasty that it convinced us to buy a bottle! Breakfast the following day was rich, served in a very beautiful room with a wonderful view. Compliments ! a place that is worth it to disconnect from daily life and to be pampered.

Stay in a tower

We stayed for three nights in the castle tower. Undoubtedly an impressive accommodation, an entire tower with a beautiful terrace on top. Unfortunately, however, it has several shortcomings; the air conditioning cannot cool the entire tower despite the two air conditioners being at maximum, and the bathroom downstairs is stifling. Furthermore, as indicated to the staff, there are continuous power surges that keep happening day and night with light bulbs that turn off or dim... Even turning off the air conditioning did not improve the situation; the hair dryer turned off several times while drying hair.... I think the breakfast could be a bit more extensive and the breakfast room is very hot. For the rest, the property is beautiful, the pool is pleasant

Astronomy Evening!

I participated in the astrology evening, with the Gubbio sotto le Stelle Group at the castle of Petroia, where historical notes hypothesize that Federico was born and lived there from
Montefeltro.
Fantastic location.... Immersed in a sea of stars, last night it really suited it.
Welcome aperitif.... Then dinner served in the, let's say, inner courtyard of the castle, lights, candles, lamps took center stage at this event in this medieval setting
evocative and its tower.
Perfect service, dined well, good wine.,, many people both guests and others who arrived for the event.
Fantastic location for everything

Elegant welcome

We stopped by on our way back home, with the vacation now over... Intrigued by the beauty of the place, we were welcomed with courtesy. The structure is truly very beautiful and well-maintained, the view is incredible. We are left with the desire to return!
