After several weeks traveling through Italy, we can say that the Hotel Uhrerhof was one of the most special experiences of our entire trip.
The location is privileged, in the tranquility of Bulla, with spectacular views over Ortisei and the mountains of Val Gardena.
The rooms are spacious, impeccable, and very comfortable; the spa is perfect for relaxing after a day in the Dolomites, and every corner of the hotel reflects care, good taste, and attention to detail.
But what truly makes this place unique is the Zemmer family.
From the very first moment, it is clear that they do not just manage a hotel: they live this project with passion and love. The warmth, respect, and affection with which they welcome each guest make one feel like part of the family and not just a customer.
It is exciting to see how each generation contributes its part to maintain this little paradise. The grandmother lovingly tends to the beautiful rose garden, which seems straight out of a story and adds a special beauty to the surroundings.
Seeing the family involved in every detail, from the gardens to the daily care, conveys an authenticity that is very hard to find today.
The cuisine deserves a separate mention. The breakfasts are abundant, varied, and made with excellent homemade products, including the famous jams prepared by the grandmother. The dinners are simply extraordinary: dishes crafted with fresh, local ingredients, presented with creativity and elegance, while always preserving the authentic flavor of home-cooked meals. Each night was a different and memorable experience.
It is clear that they deeply love this place and what they do. And that love is present in everything: in the hospitality, in the cuisine, in the gardens, in the care of the facilities, and in the way they make each guest feel.
There are larger and more luxurious hotels, but very few manage to convey as much authenticity, humanity, and well-being.
Uhrerhof is not just a hotel; it is a little piece of heaven in the Dolomites, created and cared for with love by an extraordinary family.

Attention to detail at this charming inn
The service and care provided by this family-run inn is second to none. From the stunning rose garden & meticulous grounds to the wonderful breakfast buffet & evening dinners, the attention to detail was perfect. Our room had a lovely Mountain View & we were able to grab the nearby bus to be in Ortesei center in 20 minutes. The infinity pool was the perfect end to a day of Dolomites hiking. We would love to return!

….so paradise does exist
I spent 10 days with my wife in this beautiful and very quiet Hotel!
The kindness of Mrs. Dunia and her daughters frames an enchanted place where the guest feels cared for and pampered from their arrival until their departure.
The cleanliness and order are to be appreciated, as are the table service and the quality of the buffet (very varied) and the cuisine.
The pool suspended over the valley with a splendid view of Ortisei and Seceda is amazing, as is the sauna from which one can enjoy the same view.
Also worth mentioning is the magnificent rose garden permeated by a very delicate scent of roses.
Finally, I cannot help but mention the delicious jams (available for purchase on-site) and the various products prepared by Grandma Lotte.
If we want to be honest, I made the only mistake and I apologize for it again: having forgotten the charging cable for my iPhone at home, I asked Mrs. Dunia if she had one to lend me. On the day of departure, however, I forgot to return it while lost in thought!....I will do so anyway on the next occasion because we will definitely return.
We thank the family again for having us spend a relaxing and very peaceful vacation.

We like to feel good and at the same time feel at home.
Fantastic hotel, super clean, very, very cozy rooms, location of the property just outside the town which allows you complete relaxation and at the same time to be in the center of Ortisei in an instant, by the way, if you want, without moving the car because it is very close to the bus stop; regarding the family that welcomed us into their property, simply fantastic people, even though it was the first time we had the pleasure of staying, it was as if we had always known each other with that elegance, respect, and detachment that only people with heart and professionalism can have; for my family, it has become a point of reference for our mountain vacations.

Relaxing and luxurious stay in a beautiful setting!
Our family of three (couple and 12 year old) stayed for 5 nights in July and had the best time! We were looking for easy access to fantastic hiking while enjoying the amenities of a nice hotel and that's just what we got - and more. We took advantage of the half board option which made our days so easy. Breakfast and dinner were set, so each day all we had to do was choose our hike and find a hut to eat lunch along the trail. After hiking we spent the afternoon by the pool, enjoying the sauna and luxurious spa atmosphere. I wasn't sure how welcome my son would feel given the spa and formal dinner seating, but he got really into it! He has mild food allergies and they were so attentive to that, adjusting his meals to make sure he could eat everything. Each of us felt so well cared for.
The Zemmer Mayrhofer family has created a very special place that manages to be both very welcoming and luxurious at the same time. We all had a truly memorable experience and would definitely go again!
