Top experience

We stayed, the three of us, for three nights and we discovered management that is accurate and attentive to every need of the guests.
The owner is very helpful and ready to listen to the customers' requests and to provide them with advice on how to optimize their stay experience in the area.
A special mention for the breakfast, rich, genuine (prepared by Carmen's skilled hands) with several excellent options (gluten-free and lactose-free).
Highly recommended!

It is always a pleasure!

With a small detour from the highway, you can reach this little gem of a hotel, small, quiet, next to a stream from which a pleasant coolness rises. The owner, Roberto, puts his expertise and knowledge of the area at your disposal, with valuable tips to enjoy your stay to the fullest. Super breakfast, with a buffet rich in local products.

A pleasant discovery...

I stayed at this hotel for the Va' Sentiero Fest hiking expedition.
Wonderful rooms with a breathtaking view. Fantastic sweet/savory breakfast with local products.
Extremely helpful and courteous manager who spoiled us right from the start, making us feel like family even though almost all of us were quite far from home...
I highly recommend it!

​Sapere che il tempo trascorso qui da noi, in occasione di un evento speciale come la spedizione del Va' Sentiero Fest, abbia lasciato un ricordo positivo è la nostra soddisfazione più grande. Lavoriamo ogni giorno con tanta passione per far sentire chiunque a proprio agio fin dal primo momento, offrendo un soggiorno rigenerante dopo le fatiche del cammino.
​Ci fa un immenso piacere che abbiate apprezzato la nostra colazione. Per noi è un rito e ci teniamo a farvi iniziare la giornata con i sapori autentici del nostro territorio: dalle confetture artigianali alle tisane con le erbe del Parco, fino al miele tipico di Laino Borgo e ai nostri yogurt fatti in casa. Amiamo proporre sia il dolce che il salato, portando in tavola i tradizionali biscotti a otto, la frutta locale fresca di stagione, le verdure del posto e la classica fresa con pomodoro, condita rigorosamente con il nostro olio extravergine del Pollino.
​Speriamo di riavervi presto qui per farvi scoprire tutte le bellezze del Parco Nazionale del Pollino.

More and more pleasant surprises at Hotel Palia's.

We are now frequent guests at this increasingly surprising Hotel Palia's in Laino Borgo; a comfortable hotel where the pleasant surprises never end.
We already knew the convenient location just a few kilometers from the highway and the large reserved and monitored parking lot, topped by a powerful photovoltaic system; however, upon our last arrival, we were pleased to notice that an electric car charging station has also been installed.
An additional step towards eco-sustainable solutions!
It is always worth highlighting the warm and cheerful welcome from Roberto and the delicious homemade surprises from Carmen at breakfast, starting with yogurt and bread, moving on to sweet and savory croissants, various tarts with real fruit jams, pastries of all kinds, even with nduja, oatmeal cookies, and ... the selection gets richer every time we return.
Waking up in the morning, going down for breakfast, and having the embarrassment of choice, both sweet and savory, starts the day off right.
In short, a hotel that we recommend.

​Sapere che il tempo trascorso qui da noi lascia ogni volta un ricordo positivo è la nostra soddisfazione più grande. Per noi è un vero piacere accogliervi a braccia aperte ogni volta che decidete di tornare.
​Ci rende davvero felici che abbiate notato e apprezzato i nostri passi avanti verso la sostenibilità, come l'impianto fotovoltaico e la nuova colonnina di ricarica, a cui teniamo moltissimo per proteggere il nostro territorio. E per quanto riguarda la colazione, per noi è una gioia continua sperimentare e farvi trovare ogni volta una novità, che sia il pane caldo, lo yogurt fatto in casa, le crostate o i nostri fagottini dolci e salati, compresi quelli alla 'nduja!
​Speriamo di riavervi presto qui per farvi scoprire tutte le bellezze del Parco Nazionale del Pollino.

Palia’s Hotel Is A True Gem!

My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at Palia’s Hotel at the beginning of our cycling journey through Calabria. From beginning to end it was an amazing experience. The host Roberto could not have been more welcoming. The hotel itself is quintessentially Italian in style and execution, tasteful and spotless. Set in a beautiful location just above the center of Laino Borgho, with the hypnotizing sound of the river Lao below, we were treated more like family than guests. Breakfast was amazing, among the best and most generous that I’ve ever had in a hotel. Virtually all of the food was locally sourced or made in Laino Borgo. If you have plans to be in the area, make a reservation at Palia’s Hotel. If you don’t have plans to be in the area, you’re missing out, so change your plans!
