A nice, spacious apartment for a couple (though also has two single beds in kitchen/diner area).
Carmen was very cheerful, lively and helpful.
Well decorated throughout, with recently refurbished bathroom. Blinds and air con great for summer though not really needed by us in early May.
Kitchen area has all that you need to cook and very useful to have some basics, like salt, oil, coffee etc., available already. Parasols, drying rack etc also there for use.
Would recommend Hotel Pepi to eat out as it is a very traditional hotel restaurant close by and is comfortable and relaxed, as most customers are guests.
Parking on street next to the sea not a problem. Good local supermarket and baker.
Easy to drive to cable car for trip up to Taormina and coach picked us up 150 metres away for journey to Etna.

Rude behaviour from the host
From the moment we arrived, the owner’s behavior was rude. There was a mistake with the booking, and it turned out we needed an extra bed, which we were willing to pay for. The owner (she) was angry that we arrived late, even though we were dependent on a train schedule, which we explained.
Upon departure, we had serious issues because one of the children accidentally broke a glass lamp by tripping over the cord. We explained that it was completely unintentional, but we were accused of being disrespectful to the property and were basically blamed for intentionally damaging the lamp. We said we were ready to pay for it, but the situation turned into blackmail. She claimed the lamp was 10 years old and had sentimental value. The woman started looking for similar lamps costing 150 euros, which we found unacceptable. We offered to pay half the price of a similar new lamp for 90 euros, but then the owner began threatening us with the police and even started calling them.
As we were in a hurry to catch a train to the airport, we ended up paying 89.9 euros, the full amount, but we do not recommend this place to anyone. She treated us like criminals and scared the children with her aggressive behavior, even though we apologized for the accident and were willing to take responsibility.
Additionally, there were hairs left in the bathroom from a previous guest, and after showering the water would pool and needed to be drained manually to prevent it from reaching the hallway.

Highly recommend
I will be brief) The apartment is excellent. Carmen is amazing woman! Letojanni and the whole east coast is the best in comparison with south (Marina di Ragusa) and north (Cefalu). Although there is a lot of good everywhere. But we, as a family with a small child, enjoyed Letojanni most of all. A good rest and pleasant impressions for all!

Sahara appartment
What a lovely app.Carmen was Very helpful and friendly. The place is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need. Only a couple of minutes to the beach. I thought it was perfect. It is also beside the best restaurant in Sicily. It has aircon in both rooms,umbrella for the beach,a large balcony, fully equipped kitchen, just no kettle. Eileen

Best place to stay for visiting Taormina
The house is beautiful, Carmen is fantastic Letojanni is a very charming villages very close to Taormina, the beach is very nice,a lot of decent restaurants at the sea side. If you have a car it's easier to stay in Letojanni and park the car at the Funicular and use it to visit Taormina. You have all you need in the house even a parasol :) beautiful balcony is a bonus.
