Stay that exceeded expectations
At the Antico Cascinale Lombardo in Lonato del Garda
I found a house simply lovely: attention to every detail, cozy, authentic, with that rustic charm that makes you feel immediately at home.
The garden was a paradise for my 3 dogs: space, freedom and lots of happiness to see them run and play serenely in total safety.
A special thanks to the owner, always present discreetly but attentive and punctual for every need. A real welcome, made of kindness and care. Also attentive to the needs of 4-legged friends: he made me find bowls, beds inside and outside the house, towels and towel, as well as towels for the sofa and bed.
And then trekking in the surroundings... between nature, silence and wonderful views, every walk was a discovery and a moment of pure well-being.
In the surroundings so much to see, including the castle of Padenghe, the center of Lonato and the fortress, the abbey of Maguzzano.
Super recommended!

B & b very impressive, privacy assured, complete with everything, breakfast for every need. Host helpful and very gentile.vamo enjoyed some restaurants suggested with pleasure. For friendly . 100% recommended

On holiday with 2 big dogs
Lisa terrific, ready for any request, we also had a great time with our super dogs, great location x reach the lake or other. Super quiet, place just as described.un trip into nature, we had just behind the moms' house with their foals.

Authentic and friendly atmoshere
A holiday we will remember a long long time. We definetly want to come back and experience more of the area around the Garda Lake.
The La Colombera suited our family of 5 very well - our children Agnes (10) Villads (7) and Laura (5) slept below in two beds one double and one smaller for maximum age of 5years. But the two twin beds on 2nd floor will work for older kids too and the parents could then just sleep below.
Nice and clean and a good pratical bathroom with all you desire. Under the stairs you find coffee and tea maker, just placed on top of the fridge with a little freezer enough space for drinks, snacks and food for a simple lunch. Wifi is reachable all over the property and has been good and stabile during our stay. No aircondition at the La Colombera, make especially 2nd floor warm during night. We used the Fan/blower the warmest nights (2pc available). Though it is important to say the temperature is 2-4 degrees lower than at lakeside and from time to time a mild "cold" wind is blowing - making it okay.
The courtyard has one big Antico terrace under roof with a simple 2spot electrical plates for cooking and a old authentic kitchenzink for cleaning the dishes. Just outside the La Colombera you also find a small terrace with a little cafe set.
Courtyard has large area for parking and electrical metal gate for absolute privacy.
Breakfast with all you desire and adjusted day by day. Lisa kept attention and rapidly asked if something else was needed. Freshpressed and homemade Carrot-Apple juice was a winner!
Swimmingpool is available five hours a day and takes 5-10min from La Colombera up the hill on small roads with beautiful authentic Lombardy nature. At the end of the Road go thru a gate to discover the pool area with a breathtaking panoramaview over Lago del Garda - better can't be found, simply paradise. The family estate, we was welcomed by Ms. Lisa, Mrs. Renate and Mr. Luciano Fabbri Corsarini.
Really warm and friendly family with their hearts on the right place. We could ask them anything from where to go and where to eat, always with a good experience when following their advices.
We loved our stay and surely we want to come back !

Everything so perfect and welcoming
We were staying a week and were treated so well by Lisa who is really competent as well as gentle. The house was very good and everything worked perfectly including a fast wifi. Abundant breakfast where our excursion experiences were shared with Lisa who gave good advice. Just so wonderful everything.
