We spent a perfect week as a family.
Well-structured rooms, imperial breakfast provided with savory and sweet foods. Professional and friendly assistants: Ernesto, Giovanni Davide, and Francesco help you with passion! The young ladies at the reception were kind and always available. The owner is always present so that everything goes for the best. Pool: awesome! Compliments.

Excellent experience from every point of view. The Grand Hotel Palace in Marsala is a charming, elegant establishment that pays attention to the smallest details. The staff is extraordinary: professional, friendly, and always attentive to the needs of the guests.
Special mention for the breakfast, truly unique and of the highest level, with a surprising variety that even includes oysters, sea urchins, and fresh shrimp. A stay that exceeded all expectations. Absolutely recommended!

Super breakfast
Pleasant stay at the Grand Palace Hotel
But with some disappointments…
The positive points
In a beautiful home, nicely decorated
The breakfast is absolutely fantastic,
Very varied and of high quality
The staff is friendly and attentive
A big thank you to the receptionist who tries to speak French, very pleasant and also very attentive
On the other hand, several details do not meet the expectations of a hotel

Our room overlooks warehouses and train tracks, which is not very flattering
We would have appreciated being offered a better-located room
Given the low occupancy rate of
the hotel
(We booked for 3 nights)
French television channels are absent or disappear
regularly despite the intervention of a technician
We were also surprised by
the absence of a kettle in the room
(. In a 2-star hotel, there is a kettle )
And some welcome products like milk
for the body
Finally, we learned by reading reviews on Tripadvisor that there is a jacuzzi on the roof
In the end, a comfortable hotel with an excellent breakfast and friendly staff

A beautiful hotel right opposite a marina and a level half mile walk to the town with a cafe on the way! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was stunning; so much choice and service was exceptional. The pool is beautiful. Good for swimming or floating with amble sunbeds and the gardens well tended and added much appreciated shade. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay with you special

Frustrating experie
Unfortunately my experience in this hotel was very negative due to an unacceptable episode that occurred during my stay.
Being an early riser, I got off early in the morning to go for a run, but I was practically prevented from going out. The night porter was deeply asleep and, despite various attempts, there was no way to get the door opened in a reasonable time, ruining my plans for the day.
The most absurd thing, however, I discovered shortly after: the person who was supposed to guard the reception was not even a security guard or a qualified doorman, but a waiter named D…, obviously left there to cover a shift that was not his.
I find it outrageous that a hotel entrusts the safety of guests and the management of the property during the night to unresuped staff who are clearly unable to perform the task. The staff management is terrible and there is a total lack of respect for customer needs. I strongly advise against it if you are looking for professionalism and 24-hour assistance.

This unforeseen circumstance forced us to cover the shift at the very last moment with a staff member not normally assigned to night duties.
We fully understand your frustration, and we sincerely apologize. However, we believe it is important to avoid drawing conclusions or making statements that damage the reputation of a hotel that, in over 30 years of activity, has always guaranteed the highest level of safety and assistance to its guests, day and night.
What happened was an isolated, extraordinary event, not representative of our service or standards. We have already implemented further internal measures to ensure that such a situation cannot happen again.
We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and show you the quality and professionalism that have always distinguished our hotel.
